Except, as he hauls himself up into another split, his arms the only support he has around the ring, I think of all the ways I’d like to turn him out, and I know one night wouldn’t be enough.
I never thought I’d say this, but something about him intimidates me in a way I’m not used to. I’m a fucking hit man, yet I hesitate to get involved with him. I’m not sure why, but the vibe he gives off is that he could take me down if I wasn’t paying attention. Not in a violent way. That I could handle. No, he’s far more dangerous than that.
His routine ends with him dangling upside down, then flipping easily off the ring and writhing around on the floor, pumping his hips. It takes all my willpower to stay seated and not crawl up there with him, blanketing his body with mine and kissing him like I know he needs to be kissed.
The audience cheers for him the way they used to lose it for Cashmere, a.k.a. Colson. I turn to look at him. He’s smiling proudly, like he’s watching his student. Cashmere still dances on occasion, but far less than he used to before he married Specter. He’s actually studying to become a dance instructor now.
Blush bows, dragging a hand through his wavy pink hair and winking at me before sauntering backstage, his tight ass proud on display in his bodysuit.
“Jesus,” I mutter.
“He likes you,” Colson says. “I’ve heard it through the grapevine. He always asks if you’re coming in when he sees me too.”
“That’s why I messaged you tonight.” Specter grins.
“Dude, you need to move on that,” Phantom says, stroking Felix’s thigh. “Could be fun.”
“Or we could,” Felix says, making what I assume is supposed to be a flirty expression. “Maybe he’s up for a threesome.” His eyes flicker to me. “Or a foursome. I’m down for whatever.”
Ghost scrunches his face, his brow creased as if he’s disgusted by what he heard, but I’ve always known Ghost to be a pretty open dude.
I don’t have time to dig into what Ghost is feeling because of my own reaction to that idea. My chest tightens unpleasantly as I lean close to Felix.
“I don’t think so.”
Felix grins at me. “Ooh jealousy. That’s hot.”
“Settle down, Felix,” Phantom says. “You don’t want to push those buttons. Whisper looks chill, but let’s just say he’s got another side.”
Felix pulls back, biting his lip nervously as he nods. My jaw ticks, but then I sit back too, taking a gulp of my drink.
Blush appears minutes later wearing short shorts, a crop top, and heels that lace up his toned calves. He glances at me coolly before approaching us. Fuck, he’s gorgeous. I want to run my hands all over him.
“Hi, Whisper,” he says, his voice soft but deep at the same time. “Good to see you tonight.”
“You too, Blush. You were great.”
“Thanks. I’ve been working on my flexibility.”
I clear my throat. “It shows. Buy you a drink?”
“Please.” He glances around the table then settles himself right on my lap, draping his arm around my neck. “Were you working?”
I nod, gazing up into his soft brown eyes. “Yeah, but I got here in time to see you.”
“I’m flattered. You know, Whisper…” He drags a finger down my cheek. “You could see as much of me as you like.”
“Good to know.”
What the fuck is wrong with me? He’s offering—why am I not taking?
“I’d worry I’m not your type, but something tells me I am.” He wiggles on my lap, obviously aware of my hard cock beneath him.
My breath catches and words fail me.
“When you’re ready,” Blush says. “Hopefully someone else won’t come along and scoop me up. That would be sad, don’t you think, Whisper?”
“You don’t want me. You flirt with all the customers.”
