He licked a stripe up my chin to clean me off, and my brain just … stopped working. I made a garbled noise that wasn’t even a word, and he swallowed it down, pushing his tongue into my mouth and kissing me deep.

We stayed like that a long time—me in his lap, his hand on my jaw—not really building toward anything, just kissing because kissing felt good.

Eventually, when I couldn’t ignore the mess in my pants, I rolled off him and flopped down on the mattress. “I should go back to my room and shower.”

Cally looked almost sheepish when he said, “Or you could use my shower.” He paused for a second, his cheeks turning pink. “You could stay. If you want.”

I pushed up onto an elbow and leaned in to kiss him again. “I want.”

NINETEEN

CALLY

Freshly showered and smelling like my body wash, Mikey was lying on my bed facing me. We were propped up on our elbows, grinning at each other like a couple of idiots.

I couldn’t seem to make myself stop grinning, even though my face had started to hurt a couple of minutes ago.

Inwardly, I was also freaking the fuck out.

I hadn’t meant to kiss him. Or rather, let him kiss me. Kisses were my kryptonite, and Mikey kissed like his mouth was made for me.

“What was that sound about?” he asked, his brows furrowing.

“What sound?” I asked. I hadn’t heard anything.

“You just, like, purred.” He tipped his chin down and made a low, rumbling sound—not quite a growl, more like … well, a cat. “Like that.”

I snorted. “No, I didn’t.”

He shoved lightly at my shoulder, laughing. “You totally did, C.”

“You’re crazy.”

“Obviously,” he agreed easily. “Doesn’t mean you didn’t just purr while staring at my mouth.”

Said mouth curved into a smile, and my eyes dropped to it.

“You’re doing it again,” he whispered after several seconds had passed.

“I’m not purring.”

“I meant staring.”

I was, but I couldn’t help it. Those lips had been wrapped around my cock tonight. That mouth had swallowed my cum.

“Cal?”

I dragged my eyes up to his. “I can’t believe you blew me.”

He barked out a laugh. “I can’t believe you let me.”

“Me neither,” I told him.

When I’d texted him my room number, I’d done so with the intention of telling him we had to stop hooking up. Clearly, I had zero willpower.

“Can I ask you something?” he said, the laughter from a second ago gone from his voice.

“Sure,” I said with what I hoped looked like a casual shrug, though his careful tone had me about two seconds from panicking.
