His grip tightened just shy of the point of pain, his hand moving quicker. “Like this?”
“Yes, fuck,” I whined, his hand shuttling over my cock.
I dropped back down to reclaim his mouth, our kiss growing increasingly frantic until my rhythm faltered and my hips stuttered.
Cally dragged his hand out of my pants, shoving them down over my hips. “In my mouth.”
I scrambled clumsily up his chest until my cock bobbed above him, his tongue out and waiting. I gripped my dick and met his eyes, the blazing blue of his irises swallowed up by big, black pupils.
“Fuck you’re beautiful,” I told him as his mouth closed around me, slick, pink lips stretched tight.
I groaned and folded my body forward, bracing my hands on the floor above his head as I fucked into the tight, wet heat of his mouth the same way I’d fucked into his tight, hot hole last night.
White-hot heat rushed up my spine and my hips stuttered. My cock pulsed, and I shot down his throat.
Cally moaned, swallowing every drop I had to give, holding my spent cock in his mouth until I went fully soft.
I slipped out with a contented sigh and rolled onto my back, tucked myself away, and lifted my hand over my face to admire my ring.
“If you don’t like it, I can get you something different,” he said, his voice gravelly from the abuse his throat had just taken.
“I love it.” I lowered my hand down next to his, hooking our pinkies together, and shifted onto my side to look at him. “I need to get you one, too.”
“I can’t wait to marry you,” he said, his eyes shining brightly.
“I can’t wait to be your husband.” I leaned forward, kissing him again because how could I not?
It was funny, really, when you thought about it. Last night, hopped up on adrenaline, “fuck the plan” had seemed like such a great idea. But in order to fuck the plan, we had to have one first.
Oh, we’d had conversations about one. And texts, too—so many texts. And then even more conversations. But all we had so far was a vague concept of a plan. Cally had been on the phone with his agent in the last couple of days than he had in the past six months combined, but the only thing I knew was that it would be months before anything could happen, and that was only assuming all the pieces fell into place.
Months seemed like a really long fucking time for something I didn’t even know the details of.
There was an alternative …
I brushed a lock of shiny, silver hair off his forehead—his tinsel, I called it—my eyes staying locked on his hairline because I wasn’t sure I could stomach the look in his eyes if he reacted badly to what I was about to propose. “We could go down to City Hall before Christmas.”
Cally jerked his chin back. “What?”
I forced myself to meet his eyes. I was scared, but I wasn’t a coward. “We could get married now. This week. At City Hall. Once we’re married, we can figure everything else out after.”
Cally scooted back toward the couch, pulling his legs up and resting his wrists over his knees. “I already told you I don’t want us to be a secret.”
“Right,” I agreed, pushing myself up to sit cross-legged and scrubbing a hand over my face. “But that was when I said I’d go my whole life being your secret husband. That’s not what I’m talking about. You said it yourself—your plan with Donovan has a ton of moving parts, and it might not even come together. And even if it does, it won’t be for months. I’ll come out whenever you want me to. Whatever works best. But in the meantime, we’re married. We can start our life together.”
Cally circled his thumb over a thick white scar on his knee, his eyebrows furrowed as if he was actually considering the proposal instead of dismissing it outright. Finally, he glanced up at me, the tight line of his jaw loosening.
“And we can do that—just go get married by a judge or whatever this week?”
“The City Clerk, but yes.”
His eyes narrowed. “You’ve already looked into this, haven’t you?”
I scratched the side of my cheek. “Maybe.”
Cally hummed a low sound, but I couldn’t tell if it was a thoughtful hum or a disappointed one. Then he dropped his legs and rolled onto his knees, crawling forward to sit directly in front of me. He reached out, gripping my chin between his thumb and forefinger, and pressed a quick, chaste kiss to my lips.
“Tell me everything.”
