She nodded her head but didn’t move out of my lap. I closed my eyes, feeling like I could stay right there, just like that, all night long. I loved the way that woman calmed my nervous system. There might not be anything left outside, but at the moment, for us, everything was OK. When I finally felt her release some of the tension in her body, I released her and let her sit up straight.
“I need to get home,” she mumbled.
“Not in this weather. Didn’t they say we had to shelter in place?” I reminded her.
“Yeah, but that doesn’t mean I can sit here all night.”
“Don’t try to run from me, Shiloh. You said the boys are good, right?”
“Yes.” She nodded.
“So are you. You can use my bathroom to clean yourself up, then come sit on this couch and ride the storm out with your man. I’ll make sure you get home once it’s safe to go out.”

I stood in the bathroom mirror looking at my reflection for far longer than I should have if I didn’t want things to be awkward. Over the past couple of weeks, Quinton and I had been getting closer, but I wasn’t sure we were at the sex phase.
We had only gone on one date, and it was technically a playdate. Even then, my dumb-ass baby daddy ruined our night by showing up and being himself. Now I had fucked Quinton in his office in the middle of a freaking storm. Granted, bad weather made me jittery, but I knew better.
He got on my damn nerves at first, but I actually liked him. I didn’t want things to go downhill now that we had crossed the line. It sucked that men switched up on you as soon as they got the goods.
Speaking of good, my pussy still throbbed at the thought of Quinton’s fine ass all over us. I hadn’t had sex since early in my pregnancy. I refused to let Greg touch me again once I was done with him. It didn’t feel right having sex with anyone else while I was pregnant. Once my son was here, I was more focused on being a mom than getting laid.
That quick refresher course had me literally floating as I paced back and forth in the bathroom. Sex with Quinton was better than good. I had to get a grip, or I could see myself spiraling out of control. Damn, it was good though. I didn’t know what I missed more, his mouth or his dick. Both were phenomenal. I could tell he was packing by the way that he walked, but damn. No one could have prepared me for how skilled he was with his mouth, and he was so nasty.
My nipples still tingled from the way he handled them. I couldn’t believe he sucked my titties, knowing what would happen. Not only that, but he seemed to love it just as much as I did once I relaxed. Seeing how much he loved it made me let go and enjoy what was happening myself. If what had just happened in his office was a preview, I didn’t know what I would do after the main event.
I was already wondering what his favorite meal was. I was fully prepared to make that man breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the unforeseeable future. This was why I liked to keep my legs closed. When my girl downstairs started thinking for me, there was nothing I could do. A soft knock on the bathroom door made me stop pacing in the small space, as if he could see me.
“Did you find the soap I was talking about?” he asked.
“Yeah, I’m coming right out,” I said, hoping not to sound as flustered as I was.
I looked over in the mirror and took a deep breath before walking over and opening the door. Quinton was still there, leaning on the wall on the other side of the hall. He stood up straight when he saw me.
“You good, baby?”
“Yeah. How does it look outside?” I asked.
“Still trying to get away from me?”
“I’ve been in your hair and space enough.”
“I’ll be the judge of that. If it’s up to me, you’ll never get out of it.”
I rolled my eyes playfully. “You don’t mean that.”
“Either way, it’s still pretty nasty out there. The news says it should pass in the next hour.”
“I need to call my mom and check on the boys,” I said, following him back to his office.
I found my phone on his desk. I called my mom, but her phone only rang twice before going to the answering machine. My second call went straight to voicemail. A text message came in immediately.
Mama: You know better than to be on the phone in this weather. We are fine.
I laughed as I walked over to the couch and plopped down.
