“It’s not all about the sex.”

“It is with Ash. The guy can’t keep his hands off me for more than five minutes. It’s a good job I find him so damn attractive.”

Sloane giggled. “I wish I had that problem with Dallin. I need to turn myself into a microscope before he pays me attention. That’s the only thing he shows any affection to around here.”

“I’ve told Hunter we can’t be together, but he still protects me and behaves like we are. He never dates, and he’s always looking out for me. I... I want to believe in him.” Cleo shook her head.

“If you care about Hunter, you need to figure out a way to keep him here,” Georgia said.

“I definitely don’t want him to go,” Cleo said.

“Have you told him that?” Sloane said. “The poor guy is probably packing up the pieces of his broken heart as we speak, convinced you don’t want anything to do with him.”

Cleo jumped up, her heart pounding. She’d been so wrapped up in her own worries, that she hadn’t realized how badly this would mess with Hunter. He had dreams, too, and she’d ignored them.

“The penny has dropped,” Georgia said.

Cleo chewed on her bottom lip. She’d been such an idiot. She’d had Hunter right in front of her, but she’d never let herself take a chance on him. And now, she was about to lose him.

“Go! Get out of here,” Georgia said. “Go tell that alien how much he means to you.”

“And then screw his brains out,” Sloane said. “Even if he doesn’t stay, at least he’ll have that memory to keep him going until he can get back here and do it to you all over again, and in every position you can imagine.”

“And probably some you can’t. Those guys are inventive in the bedroom,” Georgia said.

Cleo raced out of her room and along the corridor. If she couldn’t stop Hunter from going, she’d give him a big reason to find his way back to her.
