“No one has ever bitten my horns before,” Loka said. “We shall have to try it again. It sent a bolt of pleasure to the base of my cock. The next thing I knew, it was all over.”

Heather gently kissed his mouth. “You don’t hear me complaining. I had a great ride.”

“Give me a few minutes. We will try again.”

“A few minutes!”

Loka grinned at her. “I might be a science nerd, but I’m a horny one.”

Heather grabbed hold of his face and kissed him. “Then we’re a perfect match.”

Chapter 23

Rising from his sweat-soaked sheets, Loka couldn’t resist a celebratory scratch down the door frame. With his claws fully extended, he reached over his head and raked his claws from roof to floor several times.

He kept his bellow low, not wanting to wake Heather from her exhausted sleep. They had not left his room for three days, and they’d barely left his bed other than to eat and take super quick showers. Despite their first encounter being over prematurely, Loka had shown Heather he could satisfy her in every way.

They’d had fun trying to hook her legs over his single horn before he went down on her and pleasured her with his tongue. It had ended with her practically sitting on his face as he held her in position. Not that he minded. He could spend all day pleasuring Heather and never grow bored.

Loka reached up again and scratched down the wall. This was their home. He had his female in his bed, and nothing brought him greater satisfaction.

“When you’ve done remodeling the wall, why don’t you come back and join me?” Heather’s sleepy voice sounded from the bedroom.

He peeked out the door, pleased to see a small box waiting for him in the corridor. Loka grabbed it before bounding back into the room, his cock already standing at attention ready to please her.

She laughed when she saw him and threw a pillow at Loka. “Cover yourself up. I’m not as hardy as you. I don’t think I’ll be able to walk for a week after what we’ve done.”

He grabbed the pillow and jumped onto the bed, placing the small box out of the way, so Heather wouldn’t see it. “You are not hurt?”

“It’s a good hurt. It’s the kind of ache that will make me smile every time I sit down. It will remind me of you.” Heather’s hand brushed across his face. “I could really do with a long hot shower and some clean clothes.”

“That can be arranged.”

“And if we don’t leave this room soon, my friends will send out a search party to see what’s happened to me.”

Loka nodded. “I’m surprised Hoan hasn’t come to investigate.”

“When I messaged Vegas to let her know I needed a few days leave after our excitement on the station, she was suspicious. I think she knows I’m not on my own.”

“I could stay here with you forever,” Loka said. But what Heather said was true. They had to leave the room at some point. He still had work to do, a whole galaxy to map out, in fact.

Some of his happiness faded. His work had been a focus for such a long time. Now Heather was in his life, he’d need to be careful to balance the two. He didn’t want Heather disappointed in him.

She brushed her lips against his. “From your serious expression, I’m guessing you’re thinking about what life will be like after we leave your sex palace?”

He nodded. “We both love our work.”

“Neither of us will stop working.”

“Agreed. It wouldn’t make either of us happy.”

“I would never want you to be unhappy,” Heather said.

“The mapping of the Milky Way will take several years. Are you prepared for that?”

Heather took a deep breath. “Getting enough experience to be a decent manager before I set up my own outpost will take a while. Maybe, if we compare plans, they might fit. We could find our work moves in the same direction. Didn’t you say that, once you’ve done this mapping project, you’d be able to pick where you worked next? We can find a planet we both love and set up home there.”

Loka rained kisses on Heather’s face. “I always knew you were clever.”
