My Soul to Keep

Page 11

by Rae Simmons

The drinks began to go down smoothly, and it wasn’t long before I fell over the line of tipsy and into drunk. Drunk, but aware.

Aware enough to feel Luc’s hands on me in any way he could… and I wasn’t mad about it. An arm around my waist, or a hand on the small of my back.

I didn’t stop him.

Eventually, he gestured toward the mass of writhing bodies piled in what was once a living room.

The alcohol made me say yes.

Luc spun me around so my back was to his front, and he tugged me flush against him by his hands on my hips. Sober Tate didn’t know how to dance. Drunk Tate knew how to do what felt… good.

Luc guided my hips with his hands, rocking his against my ass and letting me feel the hardening bulge in his pants. My own dick responded, plumping up fast enough to make me dizzy.

Every pulse from the music matched the thumps of my heartbeat. Sweat beaded along my hairline. Luc squeezed my hips, hands trailing up my waist and dragging a path of heat in their wake. He grasped me firmly, and leaned down to whisper in my ear. “Turn around, Tate.”

I obeyed, and our legs slotted together like two pieces of a puzzle. Luc wrapped his arms around my waist, his tail curling around my hip. I shuttered, letting my arms fall around his neck. We continued moving in time to the music… or the thud of my own heartbeat—I wasn’t quite sure which. I was following his lead.

My cock hardened with every move, Luc’s thigh granting me the right amount of friction. His erection ground into my hip, and it was that feeling that pulled my attention south, to where our bodies were fused together.

Fuck, this was what everybody talked about. The electricity surging through my skin, the goosebumps rising all over my body. This was what I’d been missing out on?

What would happen now? Would we leave together? Who was supposed to ask who? Would Carter be okay with me bringing someone back? What about Luc’s roommates?

Luc smoothed a hand down my back and cupped my ass, banishing the anxiety-riddled questions before they could spiral any further. Grinding hips turned into brushing stomachs, then we were chest to chest. Luc’s head ducked, and his warm breath washed against my cheek. I felt his demands more than heard them, and couldn’t help but obey the silent request.

I turned my head, then his lips were on mine.

I let out a satisfied hum into his mouth, sliding my fingers up and through his hair to hold him in place. His inky waves were smooth, slipping through my fingers effortlessly. I swore he was purring with each pass of my hand over his scalp.

The crowd around us vanished, and Luc and I were the only two to exist in that moment. His tongue, warm and wet, prodded at my lips for entry and my mouth opened before I even registered what I was doing.

Our tongues met. The vodka he’d been drinking was sweeter, mixing with the tang of my tequila to create something so incredibly intoxicating that I moaned, my hips kicking forward to grind against his. Luc shifted, and then the hard ridge of his shaft was dragging across mine. Fuck, he was big.

I wanted to reach down and touch him, but monster-gods, his hair was so soft. Both large hands now cupped my ass, guiding my hips to fuck against his.

I shuddered, and before I knew it my orgasm raced down my spine, and I came into my pants before I could even try to stop it.

Luc let out a low groan and pulled me tighter against him. His cock throbbed against my own, drawing out the pleasure before something rushed it away like a bucket of cold water over my head.

Shit, my first kiss and I’d just come in my pants like the virgin that I was.

My mouth broke away from Luc, and I started to remember where I was. No one paid us any attention. In fact, a few other couples had paired off and found semi-private corners of the room to give each other the same attention.

“Tate?”

My attention snapped back to Luc, to the vibrant purple eyes watching me.

Fuck…

What was I supposed to do here?

“Are you okay?” he asked me.

The lust-filled haze from the alcohol vanished, giving way to my usual anxiety. I jerked away from Luc, fully registering the sticky mess in my pants. My stomach lurched–dangerously. “I have to pee,” I blurted.

But instead of finding a bathroom, I turned and hightailed it out of the frat house, leaving Luc in the middle of the living room behind me.
