The room had red lights.
Like a torture room or something.
I go and slam my fists against the wall again.
I’m sure he’s going to get someone to get me out since it was obviously a mistake that I fell through.
Bzzz.
I froze.
Oh shit, my phone!
I pulled out out and the screen lit my face.
Twenty missed calls already from Sebastian.
I was about to scroll out, when a new message appeared from him.
Opening it, my stomach dropped.
“Mom and Dad called. Sullivan got early release.”
I stopped breathing.
“He’s out.”
My eyes reread the messages over and over until my head grew dizzy.
Sullivan was out of jail?
I hadn’t even known he was close to getting out.
The clock clicked.
My head snapped up.
The door opened.
I froze.
The room was small.
And, this guy was big.
That fucking mask.
He closed the door behind him.
Slowly.
My heart started pounding.
“Okay.”
I stood fully up.
“You’re taking this a little too far.”
