His cheeks darkened as he blushed and tried to hide his face from me. I laughed and tickled his sides, making him squirm and throw his head back.
"Okay, okay! I'll tell you! It's Polish… for Daddy. I'm Polish and I thought… Well, since I can't call you Daddy in English yet, I could call you that for now… I can stop, though, if you don't like it."
Cupping his cheeks, I pulled him in until my lips pressed against his. He squeaked against my mouth, making me smirk, and I flicked my tongue against his lips to get him to open. Like the good boy that he is, he opened and let me in, allowing me to deepen the kiss. After a few moments, I pulled back and looked at his dazed expression.
"I love it, and I love you."
His eyes widened for a moment as he looked at me. His mouth opened and closed as if he wanted to say something but couldn't figure out what. Lucas leaned in and kissed his cheek then.
"And I love you too, little bunny."
Elias turned to look at him as well, in just as much shock before a big grin spread across his face and his eyes sparkled with unshed tears.
"I… I love you too. Both of you."
He pressed another chaste kiss to my lips.
"I love you, Tatuś."
Turning to Lucas, he did the same thing and smiled brightly at him.
"I love you, Tatusiek."
Lucas smiled and kissed him again when he gave him his own title. I figured it was another version of Daddy in Polish, and hearing it made my stomach flutter and my heart warm that he wanted to call us Daddy even if it was in a different language.
"Now, come on. We need to get you out of these wet pajamas and into some dry ones, then tucked in nice and cozy between us."
Elias giggled and nodded as he climbed off my lap. Lucas helped him up and started to peel the wet pajamas off him while I got off the floor and grabbed a towel.
I felt so much better now as I watched the two men that I loved with all of my heart in front of me. Hearing Elias say those words was everything I needed to hear.
It wasn't often that I dropped, but it happened. It happened to everyone at one point. But I knew I had these two men to take care of me when it did, and when it happened to them, I would be there as well, putting them back together.
Chapter 18
Waking up the next day, I stretched out before scrunching up again and turning to bury myself in Lucas's chest. He hummed sleepily and gave me a soft squeeze before brushing his lips to my forehead.
"Morning, little bun."
I grumbled a little and buried myself deeper into his chest, not wanting to wake up yet. Lincoln's arm tightened around my middle as he kissed the back of my neck and chuckled against my skin.
"Someone sounds like a grump-a-saurus this morning."
I loved his voice in the morning. It was deep and scratchy with sleep and just plain sexy. It caused my tummy to flip-flop and made me all needy-wanty.
"Don't wanna get up."
Lucas snorted and ran his fingers through my hair for a moment, gripping it softly so he could tilt my head back to look at me. His eyes were so blue in the morning with the light shining through them.
"You're the one who woke up first, little one."
Lincoln tickled my side, making me squirm and giggle.
"Tatuś, no! Stop!"
His warm laughter filled the room along with my giggle as he continued to tickle me until I was trying to squirm to get away from him. I felt Lucas's laugh rumble through his chest as he joined in.
After a little while, Lincoln settled down and lay back down on his side of the bed while his fingers drug lightly over my back. Goosebumps rose on my skin at how good it felt. I always loved when someone did this.
