She gasps and opens her eyes for the first time. “What?”
“Close your legs, Elena.” My tone is firm. She instantly does as I say whenever I don’t give her a choice, I notice. How interesting.
Elena shoves her dress down, hiding her pussy from my view.
“See?” I say. “That wasn’t so bad, was it?”
“No,” she admits.
“Nothing bad happened.”
“Nothing bad happened.”
“All you have to do is listen to me, Elena, and I will help you. Now, it’s been a long day. You’re going to go to bed. You have class in the morning.”
I can tell my command helps relax her. I’m giving her permission to feel the things she needs to feel.
Elena gets up and goes into the closet and comes back out in her pajamas, looking more relaxed that I’ve ever seen her.
Elena
The memory of Maxim looking at my most intimate body part refuses to leave my mind all day. I try to focus on Professor Romanov’s class – which I make it on time for – but it’s a struggle. Thankfully, she leaves me alone since I wasn’t late today.
Alexei is nowhere to be found. He doesn’t show up for Professor Burgov’s class. Is he hurt? Or is he just avoiding me? Did Maxim kill him?
After what Maxim and I shared, I don’t want to think of my husband so badly but he’s still not a good man and I can’t forget that. And yet, the way he commanded my body last night was exactly what I needed. He took the choice from me and told me what to do. I didn’t have to fight. I could just… relax.
As he looked at my body. I shiver from the memory.
Polina is not absent though. She corners me after class, asking if I have a piece of writing ready to submit for Professor Burgov’s internship.
“That’s none of your business,” I reply.
“Do you?” she demands.
“Yes,” I lie. I don’t. None of my poetry feels right for it and I need the perfect one to submit. The deadline is coming up though. In just a few weeks. I need to be ready.
Polina pouts. “What is it? Show it to me.”
“No.”
“I’ll show you mine if you show me yours.”
I sigh. “Polina… please. Just leave me alone today.” I have too much on my mind to deal with her annoying nonsense.
“You are not going to get that internship,” she snaps before storming down the hallway. I hurry across campus to the parking lot just so I don’t have to see her anymore.
Maxim, like always, is waiting for me.
“Did you hurt Alexei again?” I ask before I lose my courage.
“Why would you ask me that?”
“Just answer my question.”
“No. I did not hurt him again.” Maxim’s eyes steadily look into mine. They never waver. He’s telling the truth.
“He wasn’t here today.”
