“Out.”
He doesn’t move.
“Caleb.”
“Give us a minute.”
“No.”
“Sally.”
Something in his voice makes her scowl.
“You have five.” She points at him. “And don’t wrinkle her dress.”
His gaze drops to my dress again. “No promises.”
“Caleb!”
Margie drags Sally out.
The door closes.
I laugh. “You’re horrible.”
He crosses the room.
He’s wearing a black suit. Black shirt. No tie.
The Devil on his wedding day.
His hands settle on my waist. “You look fucking incredible.”
“You’re supposed to wait until the ceremony.”
“Been waiting two weeks.”
“For marriage?”
“For this.” His mouth brushes mine.
I pull back before he ruins my lipstick. “Absolutely not.”
His eyebrow lifts. “Did my wife just tell me no?”
“I’m not your wife for another twenty minutes.”
His hand slides lower. “Technicality.”
“Caleb.”
He pulls me against him. I feel exactly how much he likes the dress.
My breath catches. “You have got to be kidding me.”
“Been looking at you for thirty seconds.”
“We have to go downstairs.”
