Judy carefully slipped on a pair of latex gloves.

"Somebody opened this file."

The room grew still.

Wolf looked toward the library windows.

"So whoever was outside tonight..."

"...may have already been here."

Max lifted his head.

A low whine escaped him.

He didn't like it either.

Judy slowly opened the folder.

Inside were camper registration cards.

Medical forms.

Cabin assignments.

Permission slips.

Everything had been neatly stacked.

Too neatly.

She frowned.

"What?"

"These pages were reordered."

"How can you tell?"

"The oldest papers should be on the bottom."

She carefully lifted the stack.

"They're not."

She looked at Sheriff Tate.

"Someone searched for one specific child."
