Blake’s eyes narrow at me. “Music is different than being woken up by an obnoxious asshole.”

I smirk at her. “Is it, though?”

Blake’s attention darts back to the table I came from before landing on my patch. “You’re the president of the Saint’s Outlaws MC?”

“Of the Virginia Beach Chapter,” I answer before lowering my tone. “Why, is that what gets you all sweet? If I had known that yesterday, I would have told you.”

“No,” Blake rushes out. “You need to get over yourself. Not everyone with a vagina wants you.”

A laugh rumbles out of me. “That’s debatable.”

In my experience, the ladies love the patch and the title that comes along with it.

“I’ll take another one, Gin,” a man who is sitting a few seats down from me calls out as he raises his glass in the air.

Gin?

“You got it,” Blake calls to him as she pushes off the bar and moves down to him, giving me a view of her ass.

Jesus, that T-shirt she came storming across the yard in didn’t do that thing justice. Her skirt looks like it’s the same material these barstools are. Before I realize it, my hand is rubbing the edge of my seat, itching for a feel of the real thing.

I bet it would feel real nice rubbing my hand over something that’s velvety and round.

My jaw clenches as I watch the guy she’s getting a refill for also stare at her ass. My eye twitches as I watch her give him a smile she hasn’t even come close to giving me as she hands it to him, letting her hand linger near his. It’s so close they might as well be holding hands.

I know it’s her job to entertain the customers, but I’m a customer too.

“Is there a reason you’re still standing here?” Blake asks after she gets him situated and drops her act long enough when she sees me still sitting here. “Your cocktail waitress is at your table. Don’t you want her to get your order?”

“Why would I get something from her when I can get it from you, Gin?” I ask, arching my brow in challenge.

Blake sighs, resting her hands on the rail of the bar and leaning into them. “What do you want?”

The same treatment you just gave the dipshit.

“I’ll take a gin and tonic.” I wink.

Blake rolls her eyes as she moves away to make my drink. I watch as she grabs the top-shelf liquor without asking what I wanted and pours it into the rocks glass. After topping it off with tonic water and a lime, she sets it down in front of me with the biggest fake smile I’ve ever seen plastered on her face.

“I’ll put it on your tab.”

“Will this gin and tonic taste as sweet as the promise of you?” I ask, wagging my brows and bringing the glass to my lips and take a sip.

Yup. That’s a strong one.

“You’ll never know. Bye, Mr. President.” Blake rolls her eyes as she retreats, sarcasm lacing her tone.

“It’s Sling, but I’ll allow Mr. President in the bedroom,” I call after her.

I laugh loudly as she puts her hand behind her back and flips me off.

Not about this life, my ass.

I’m about to crack this firecracker wide open and watch her fly. I’ve always liked the heat.

I glance at Blake one last time before grabbing my drink and heading back to our table just as the DJ announces the next act coming on. The lights in the room dim as a spotlight shines on the stage.

Mountain gives me a look as I sit down. I just shrug my shoulders at him and take another drink because what is there to say? She’s keeping up the hating act, and now’s not the time to bust through that wall. I could sit at the bar all night bothering her, but tonight is about Scar.
