“I don’t know for sure, but I think the same guy you’re talking about is the same one who has been fucking with us. His name is Rail.”

“Rail?” Matteo asks in disbelief. “I’ll never understand you guys and your road names. How long has this been going on?”

“Almost two years.”

Matteo looks at Cain in shock. “And you haven’t done anything?”

“We had shit going on with the girls and, to be honest, I just thought it was some low-level guy acting like he’s big and bad. But now I’m fucking annoyed, and I’m sick of his ass acting like he’s going to waltz into the clubhouse and take over. From the sounds of it, he thinks he’s going to do the same to you as well.”

Matteo snickers before his expression hardens. “He’s gotta go.”

Cain nods. “Already have a plan in place. Cyrus and Hash just did a drop with him today.” Matteo’s attention moves to us. “They invited him to the bonfire Evan’s planning on Devils Night.”

“You’re going to invite him to a family event?” Matteo asks, shock and disbelief laced in his tone.

“I want him to feel like he’s getting what he wants.”

“So he’s comfortable enough he doesn’t suspect anything…” Matteo trails off as he thinks about it. “I like it. What do you need from me?”

“I’m assuming he isn’t going to come alone. Everyone’s going to be shitfaced, so they won’t notice when we lure him away. I was wondering if we could borrow your warehouse so the guys he’s with don’t hear anything.”

Matteo takes a sip of his drink. “And what happens in the morning when they ask questions? They came with him. They’re going to want to leave with him.”

“We’ll just tell them he took off with a random bitch and we haven’t seen him.” Cain shrugs.

“Biker bitches,” Matteo mutters as he shakes his head. “Alright, I’m in. Wren is going to want to come, though, especially if Delaney finds out about it.”

“You’re all invited,” Cain says as our waiter arrives with our food.

I lean back as he places my dish in front of me. Just as I’m turning to thank him, something catches my attention out of the corner of my eye.

More like someone with cherry-cola hair I picked out of a crowd.

My eyes lock on Aisling’s hair that’s flowing down her bare back. She’s in a little black dress that I’ve never seen her wear for me. My eyes narrow and my face hardens as I clock the man in a suit sitting across the table from her.

“You have got to be fucking kidding me,” I growl.

Is she seriously on a date right now?

Is that why she didn’t seem upset when I asked if we could move it to Sunday?

I bet she was never going to come.

“What?” Cyrus asks with his mouth full of food as he looks around the restaurant. His gaze follows mine before he mutters, “Oh shit. That’s the girl you ran after.”

I inhale deeply before exhaling roughly, trying to calm myself down enough so I don’t kill the man she’s with.

“Looks like baby mama’s on a date,” Cyrus adds.

A fucking date.

My woman is on a date with another man.

The dude looks like a fucking tool in his fancy-ass suit and Rolex shining when the light hits it just right. His hair is gelled back, and he’s drinking a glass of wine.

Fucking pussy.

Aisling flicks a chunk of her hair over her shoulder as she looks around, scanning the restaurant.
