“The Islander loved Cinderella?” My silence condemned my brother. “And he made honey?”

“He still does.”

Logan threw his head back, choking on his own laughter. “This is gold! Thank you, my little rabbit!” He planted his lips on mine, leaving me breathless. “I knew this trip was the best.”

“Logan…men are allowed to love fairy tales too.”

His smile shrank, and he avoided my eyes like I was the evil wizard. “I do love fairy tales. I just…appreciate having any intel on Lachlan.”

“Don’t say anything. Please?”

“Fine.” The word came out as a reluctant growl.

“And there’s nothing wrong with making honey.”

“You kidding? I’m obsessed with honey! Not just because your hair smells like it.”

I frowned and lifted a lock to my nose.

“Grandpa Ian gave me four jars of MacKenzie honey to take home.” He stole the lock. “I’ll only share it with you…and my sister.”

Now it was my turn to have a wicked smile. “Loooogan! You have a sisterrrr.” I nudged him.

“Yeah.” He looked at me with suspicion. “And she’ll love you.”

“That’s not what I meant!” I sang.

His expression soured. “No way.”

“They could be mates!”

“I’ll kill him,” Logan snarled.

“Come on. That’d be amazing!”

“You mean horrible.”

“We could go on double dates.”

“I’d rather go out with you, a sheep, and her mutton.”

“Think of all the Sunday family dinners.”

“I have wereball training on Sundays.”

“And we could have babies at the same time!” No snarky comeback this time. “And they’d all grow up together, like my cousins and I did!” I bounced on his lap. “We could live next door. I’d pass things to Lachlan with a basket hanging between our balconies.”

Logan stared at me strangely, a small smile curling his lips.

“What?”

“You’re thinking about having pups with me?”

My face burned. “It was hypothetical!”

“Sure. Tell me more about these hypothetical pups of ours.” His face inched closer until my breath caught. “Got names picked already?”

My blush answered for him.
