"Ronny. Tiny. That's—stop," I threw a pillow at them.

"What the fuck. I said kiss! Don't make a sex tape!"

They broke apart. Ronny's face was flushed. Tiny's ears were red.

"My bad, I didn't expect that," Ronny mumbled.

"Sorry," Tiny echoed.

I stared at them, then sucked my teeth. "Y'all ruined the nasty by being nasty. I'm going to bed. Use a condom and keep it down when you do. I'm going to bed."

Chapter 38

I woke up the next morning thirsty enough to drink out of Ronny's toilet.

My head hurt. My mouth tasted like all the bad decisions I'd made last night. Somewhere outside the bedroom, somebody was moving around.

I opened one eye.

Ronny's side of the bed was empty. I could tell she hadn't been sleeping next to me because I didn't wake up freezing because her wild ass had kicked the covers to the floor.

That was interesting. Very interesting. Especially when Tiny was here and after that kiss. I knew Tiny and Ronny liked each other. They were complete opposites, but they clicked like puzzle pieces. I liked Tiny for Ronny. He was sweet and loyal. I thought of the dare just to push them to move along.

I dragged myself into the living room.

Tiny was sitting at the kitchen counter, drinking coffee. Ronny was at the stove in one of her little robes.

I looked at Tiny. Then Ronny. Then Tiny again.

"Did y'all fuck?"

"Mind your business," Ronny said.

"This is my business. I created this."

Tiny rubbed his face.

"Please stop, Lila."

"You're welcome."

I dropped into a chair. Ronny put coffee in front of me.

"Drink."

I took a sip. It was hot and bitter and exactly what I needed.

"So," I said.

"Tiny. You flew to D.C. to get some from Ronny?"

"I didn't get—"

Ronny pointed a spatula at him.

"If you don't stop," she threatened.

I grinned. Tiny didn't.
