“Are you serious? I spent the whole time looking for you.”

I can’t hold in my scoff. This motherfucker.

The urge to call him out is strong, but Kota needs to catch on herself. I already tried blowing his shit up and she took his side.

Thankfully, she doesn’t let up as she presses, “What are you doing with her, Guy? The girl you told me I had nothing to worry about?”

“Kota. Please, be reasonable. You don’t have anything to worry about. Lisann is—”

“Lisann is what?” Arms crossed, Lisann’s now standing next to the open driver’s door, her head cocked as she waits for Guy’s answer.

“This is like watching a reality show in real life.”

I shush Dex.

Between the girls, Guy twists at the waist to point at the Land Rover, telling Lisann, “Get in the back.”

He wants…both? He can’t even choose Kota right in front of her fucking face.

Now it’s time to intervene.

As if I’m on autopilot, I get out.

“Yo, Khaos? What are we doing?”

I don’t reply to Dex. I can’t. I have no idea what I’m doing. All I know is Kota doesn’t deserve to be disrespected like this.

“You’re giving her front seat?”

Noticing me, Guy ignores Lisann whining.

“Finally. Hope you have insurance for that piece of shit because I’m going to—”

Ignoring his bitch-ass threat, I walk right up to Kota, grab her by the belt—my belt—around her middle and pull her up onto her tiptoes before slamming my mouth down on hers.

“What the fuck?” Guy screeches, sounding closer to bird than human.

Kota’s only frozen for a second, then she’s kissing me back, separating her lips to let my tongue right in. I feel her twist her hands in my shirt, pulling me closer, and my feet shuffle forward without hesitation.

A couple of doors open in the background. A throat clears. Curses ring out. None of it stops me from exploring Kota’s mouth thoroughly.

“Dakota!” Guy snaps.

Locking up my muscles, I spin us so I’m between the exes, my back to Guy as I continue mouth-fucking the girl he fumbled.

I hear Tina tease, “Ooh, he used her real name.”

And Dex tsk. “Trash.”

If my lips weren’t busy, I’d smile.

Hesitantly, Kota breaks the kiss and peeks up at me.

One hand grasping the back of her head, I gaze down at her. Making sure my voice is loud enough for all of us to hear, I say, “Seven minutes with you wasn’t long enough.”

If that surprises Kota, she doesn’t show it.

“Wait. Isn’t that your brother?”
