7 Minutes in Sea Haven

Khaos laughs too hard for a man in such a vulnerable position. From here, I could injure his most sensitive spot in several different ways, from several different angles.

A few shuffles backward puts him by my feet, his eyes roaming every inch of my body as if he’s a painter and I’m the canvas about to become his masterpiece.

“I’m glad to see you can laugh again.” I just wish it wasn’t at my expense. I know it’s technically at Guy’s expense, but it feels like it’s at mine, too.

“I heal fast.”

“Just like how you co—”

I’m cut off when my feet are lifted into the air. I brace my arms against the floor beside me, preparing for my ass to go next, but it never does. My body in a ninety-degree angle, my heels rest on Khaos’s chest as he smirks down at me.

“I don’t always come fast, Silver. Sometimes I draw it out until the woman I’m inside of has to beg me to.”

I exaggerate a grimace as I guess, “Because you’re so bad at it?”

“Because she’s already come so many times, her body’s shutting down.”

That’s not possible. Is it?

I consider that for longer than necessary, too.

“What’s your number?” he asks.

“How many people I’ve slept with?”

“No, that’s…” His lip curls like he’s the one about to puke. “That doesn’t mean shit.”

Everyone always acts like it does though. Sometimes they act like that’s all that matters. That number can make a man’s reputation or break a woman’s reputation, even unconfirmed.

“How many times have you come?”

“In my life?”

“At once.”

“Once?” I draw out the word while also posing it as a question. How would I even know if I had more than one orgasm hit at the same time?

“Like in one session.”

“Oh.” I drop my gaze to my knees while I think. One session. One sexy-time session. “With someone else or by myself?”

“Whichever one’s higher.”

“Four.”

“Was that by yourself?”

“Obviously.”

“Why is it obvious?” He actually looks confused.

“I just…” I wave a hand around idiotically. “Guys don’t…do all that.”

“Guys or Guy?”

I don’t answer. It’s one and the same for me since Guy is the only guy I’ve been with.

“Fuckin’ unbelievable,” he mutters. “What’s your number with someone else?”
