“You look like you are up to no good, Khione.”
“Moi? Nevah. I am an o-lady.” I wince, hoping he didn’t catch my almost disastrous spill.
“An O-lady? Is that a…” Clint frowns, stepping in front of me and stopping my forward march. “I have no idea what that is.”
His smile is so disarming.
“It’s an O for…” don’t say orgasm, don’t say orgasm, “orgasm.” DAMNIT!
“An orgasm lady?” His eyebrows are in his hairline, and his smile is so wide I think it might break his face, but he’s still here, still looking at me. “What exactly does an orgasm lady do?”
When in Rome. I mentally sigh.
“Well, I take care of my own orgasms, of course.”
“And that’s up to no good because?”
Fuck. Why is he still thinking? If I flash him, will he stop asking questions?
“Because, clearly, I can’t be up to no good or good, I am too busy ensuring that it feels good,” I stress.
I am absolutely one hundred percent sure nothing I just said makes any sense whatsoever.
“Well, that is just sexy as hell. I love a beta who knows her way around her own pleasure.”
I stare at him, squint really.
“Not that I need help. I mean, I can help. It’s just sexy seeing…um…”
“Would you like to change the subject?”
He dips his chin, looking all meek. “Yes, please.”
“Shall we talk about sand? There’s nothing sexy about sand.”
“Well, actually-”
I burst out laughing and bump his arm with mine. “You are incorrigible.”
“I mean, I am a little bit, but in my defense, it’s so much fun.”
When he bites his lower lip, I wonder what he will look like with his teeth pressing into my stomach. Biting me. Bonding me.
Ew. What was that?
I step past him and point at the ocean. “Look, a dolphin.”
“Yeah, it’s probably Asher’s Banjo.”
I scowl. Asher again.
“Do you think Felix is sensitive and delicate?”
I don’t expect Clint to burst out laughing, but he does, and so hard and for so long he ends up having to wipe tears from his eyes.
“Sorry, sorry. Okay. I can do this. Give me a second.” He composes himself and turns back to me. “Felix is the strongest, most fierce omega in this town. He’s not sensitive, he’s diabolical.”
I scoff. “That’s harsh and mean! He’s your match.”
