I let go of her wrists and rested my head against her naked chest. She wrapped her arms around me and kissed the top of my head. Her fingers stroked my hair lovingly, and I sighed at the sensation. This woman was frustrating but also sweet in these quiet moments.

“Full disclosure?” I asked and looked up into her eyes. I continued when she nodded. “I may have picked fights with you on purpose over the years because you’re also hot when you get all flustered.”

Hazel eyes flashed in anger. “Dick!”

“Admit it—you love our fights. You look forward to them.”

“No…” She trailed off, but she wasn’t fooling me. “Shut up.”

I cuddled down into her soft curves and hugged her waist tightly. “Nope.”

“You really like to cuddle, eh?” she asked.

“I love cuddling, but my ex called me a ‘soft boy’ because of it. What the fuck does that even mean?”

She laughed. “Oh, that just means you’re sensitive and in touch with your feelings. Getting to know you lately, I don’t think she was wrong. Although, I think you’re more of an Alphamallow.”

I frowned. “A what?”

She bopped my nose. “You’re all growly and aggressive in the bedroom, but really you’re a teddy bear. It’s sweet how you don’t want to hurt me. I also like a man who’s not afraid to use lube.”

I ran my hand down her arm and brought her tattooed wrist up to my mouth for a kiss. “I want it to be good for you.”

“I appreciate that.”

“Can I ask you something?”

“What?”

I removed myself from her chest and laid back on my pillow. I turned and looked into her eyes. The swirls of browns and greens were a storm of confusion. “Can we be done fighting and hating each other?”

She shrugged. “Only if you don’t go all alpha-male and try to fight every douchebag who says something mean about me. I’m still mad at you for that.”

“But you don’t hate me anymore?”

Her eyes twinkled, and her lips curled up into a grin. “The jury’s still out.”

She yelped when I grabbed her hips and swung her across my lap. I gripped her jaw between my fingers, and I pressed another passionate kiss to her lips. Her hands immediately tangled in my hair, and we fought for dominance again.

“Stop being so difficult,” I growled at her.

She giggled into my ear while she sucked on my neck. “You can’t tell me what to do.”

I growled at her again. “Do I have to fuck it out of you?”

“What?” she asked and nipped at my earlobe.

“Your hatred for me.”

“I’d like to see you try,” she snarled.

“That’s it, bad girl. You’re gonna get it good now.”

I was glad I remembered to throw extra condoms in my backpack—and the lube. Lube was great. Especially if you were planning on throwing down with a feisty woman all night long. She was going to have to beg me to quit before I was through with her.
