"Then don't agree." His tone stays maddeningly calm. "You can find someone else to feature."

I glare at him.

He knows damn well I can't do that.

"Asshole."

"Is that a yes?"

I grind my teeth. "What's the second rule?"

"You agree to all of them."

I narrow my eyes. "All of them?"

"All of them."

"No matter what?"

"No matter what."

God, I hate him.

I knew him being nice last night was too fucking good to be true. For approximately twelve hours, I thought maybe Kentaro Azuma had decided to stop making my life difficult.

Apparently, he'd just changed tactics.

But he's also finally giving me his time, and unfortunately, I need that a hell of a lot more than he needs me. If putting up with his stupid requirements is what gets me enough material to finish this feature, then fine.

I'll swallow it.

Hopefully without choking.

"Fine," I mutter.

The faintest smirk touches his mouth. "Good."

"Don't look so pleased with yourself."

He ignores that and starts skating backward, gently pulling me along with him. "Bend your knees and stop looking at your feet."

"I'm looking at them because I don't trust them."

"Trust me, then."

My eyes snap up to his.

He says it so casually, like trusting Kentaro Azuma with my life on a pair of blades is a perfectly reasonable thing to ask of me.

"That's asking a lot, Sunshine."

"I'm not going to let you fall."

His hands remain firm around mine as I take another shaky glide forward.

God help me. This is going to be a very long fucking month.
