Like the rest of the crowd, she’s screaming along with the famous lyrics of this song. Words that we all created in Ravaged.
It’s so fucking hot.

There are always VIP fans waiting for us after the show. Rich people who’ve paid top dollar to meet the famous rock band straight off the stage like we’re just trophies to be taken photos with. They’ve been put, waiting, in a special area backstage on the way back to our dressing room.
I should stop and say hello. I should sign their record sleeves. I should have my photo taken with the millionaires who’ve paid extortionate amounts just to greet me.
But instead, I stroll straight up to my woman who’s waiting for me past these VIPs, and I whisper in her ear before she has a chance to react.
“I want to see your ass waiting to be fucked in my bed when I enter the door. So you better hurry back to the hotel, sweetheart.”
Maddie gasps softly. Then she bites her lip.
I reach down and kiss her passionately. I don’t care who sees us. I don’t care that the entire room probably has their focus on the two of us.
I only care about this girl.
Our lips part, and then she’s skipping away out of the room. I watch her ass as she leaves, practically drooling after her.
I think it’s fair to say the next few hours of signing autographs and taking photos with the waiting VIPs are the most painful of my life.

Another city. Another show. Another night with Maddie.
How many more nights will we get the chance to spend together? Just the rest of the nights of the tour, that’s all, and there’s not many of those left.
I don’t want to think about it.
“Come on, we’re in Chicago,” I say to Maddie as we lie in bed together. She wants to stay here, but I’ve got other plans. “I’m taking you out for this city’s famous pizza.”
Maddie snuggles against my arm. It’s so strange that I even allow her to do this. The minute any other girl would try this trick I’d have them thrown out of my hotel room.
But not Maddie.
I welcome her cuddles.
I sound like such a child. I’ve gone fucking soft.
“Okay, let’s do it.”
I glance down at the top of her cute head and smile.
“Great.”
“Should I call for the driver?” she asks me, rising up to meet my gaze.
“No,” I reply bluntly. “No driver tonight. I just want a normal night with you. Like two normal people going for a normal date to get normal Chicago pizza. No more private planes and private limos and screaming fans. Not for one night. Let me be a normal fake boyfriend.”
She nods. She gets it, thank fuck.
“Okay.”
We manage to prize ourselves away from bed and get changed. Maddie watches me strip.
