Oh, but I think she will.
The thought of her waving mockingly at me as she left the restaurant last night makes me smile. The image of her makes me feel instantly better.
Sandy Finn, I’m out to get you.
I drive up to the school in my Lamborghini and park in the staff parking lot. I know I shouldn’t, but I’m a billionaire, what are they gonna do?
I can do the fuck I want.
Except secure Sandy for a second date, it seems.
I step into the school.
Still wearing my sunglasses. I know my eyes are red from all the drinking. I had two showers and brushed my teeth three times this morning, but I still can’t get the goddamn taste of tequila out of my mouth. Sandy really screwed me around last night, but I love it.
I wander down the school hallways. Kids stream in and out of classes. The new school day is starting.
It’s good that I’m back, looking to invest in Poseidon’s Academy. The place has gone slightly downhill since I was last here as a teenager, but maybe my family’s massive education empire might be able to push it up to the big leagues again. This is what I do best. I just need a bit more research into seeing if the place is viable for our company, see what the problems are here. It’s good Mr. Brown has basically given me free rein of the place. It’s been interesting sitting in on the different lessons.
But it’s not the main reason I’m here, far from it.
Walking around these familiar hallways from my childhood brings back certain memories. It’s been years since I’ve last set foot in this place, but I remember it all as if it were yesterday. The most striking memories are those with Sandy and the things we used to get up to in here after school hours. The naughty things we used to do to each other when there was no one around except for the janitors. The secret kisses. The wandering hands. The moans of pleasure from Sandy. All those erotic memories flood into me, even while I’m hungover.
It makes me hungry. It makes me want to taste Sandy Finn again.
She’s the main reason I’m back.
And there she is. I see her. Not Sandy, but the other person I’ve come into school today to see.
“Miss Tweed!” I shout down the hallway at the small figure. Her puffy hair shakes as she turns around. I stroll up to her before she has a chance to react. “You’re exactly who I’m looking for.”
She blushes at my comment. “Mr. Deep, what a nice surprise to see you.”
“Are you free?”
“Right now?”
“Yes.”
“Well, I don’t have a class for forty-five minutes.”
I smile my winning smile at her. I’ll charm her little socks off. “Perfect,” I say. “I would like to ask you a favor. Nice cardigan, by the way.” I nod at her top.
She straightens out her cardigan. “Oh, this old thing. Thank you, Mr. Deep. What can I do for you?”
“I know it’s a big ask, but I would like to have a peek at the financial information about the school.”
Miss Tweed shakes her head sadly. “Oh, no. That simply isn’t possible.”
“Why not?”
“Well, Mr. Brown would have to give me authorization first.”
I smile again. “Oh, Miss Tweed. I thought you were the school’s bookkeeper.”
“I am.”
“But?”
