“In the words of the lovely Levi Sykes, fuck it.” Sera’s lips curved into a Mona Lisa smile. “How big are your cojones?”
“Big enough. Pretend you’re doing lawyer shit.” Levi’s pulse raced as he freed his cock. “Write notes or something.”
He pressed his shaft against her arch, and her toes flexed. Levi had fast become a foot man, singular—only hers. Her pen scratched across the yellow page of her legal pad as he worked his tip between his thumb and fingers, applying a little pressure, but not too much because he’d last about three seconds. He loved this woman. He loved her smart mind. He loved her determination. And he loved her filthy streak. Damn, she was doodling a dick.
He came with a low groan, hot cum splashing across her sole, and he massaged it into her skin as that dirty smile grew wider.
“You don’t have cracked heels,” he told her.
“Well, I don’t now.”
“This is a mess.”
“In every possible way, but I’m working to resolve that. Levi, I’m going to get you out of here. Whatever it takes, I’m going to get you out of here.”
“So I can buy you a new pair of shoes?”
Her laughter sounded slightly hysterical. “Oh, hell. I can’t believe we did that.”
“I know it sounds weird, but I feel so fucking lucky right now.”
“We can’t get ahead of ourselves. The video watching isn’t going as well as I hoped—there’s just nothing useful so far. A delivery guy dropped off a package, and a pair of raccoons did something unmentionable on the lawn, but other than that, it’s only the residents coming and going.”
“How much have you watched?”
“One day and four hours. The cameras were recording continuously, not motion-activated.”
“Alexa said that was more reliable, and nobody was about to argue with her. Have you met Alexa yet?”
Sera shook her head.
“If you do, understand that she won’t follow the thought processes you might expect. Ruby was convinced she had ADHD, and she thought Alexa was somewhere on the spectrum as well, although she can mask when she needs to.”
“Do I need to read a psychology textbook?”
“It wouldn’t hurt. Also know that Alexa will take whatever course of action she thinks is best, even if you disagree with her, and she won’t feel any guilt for her total lack of flexibility. I’m not saying she’s a sociopath, but…”
“…she’s a sociopath.”
“It might not be a bad idea to glance over that chapter.” Levi caught movement at the door. “Jim’s coming.”
Sera smoothly turned the page in her pad, wrote the word “sociopath” in block letters, and underlined it twice.
“That’s very interesting,” she said. “I’ll be sure to look into it.”
Jim stopped beside the table. “Time to go, Sykes.”
It was, but not before he gave a polite nod and said, “Stay safe and use foot scrub, Serafina.”
CHAPTER 34
SERAFINA
It might have been two p.m., but Jester, Keychain, and Driftwood were all eating breakfast. Again. They’d already eaten plates of eggs, bacon, and grits before we visited the prison, and now they were shovelling waffles into their mouths as if calories weren’t a thing. As for me, I was picking at a piece of French toast while I read over Jerry’s message again, and although it was tempting to ignore her words because a conversation with her was about as much fun as getting blood drawn, she might have information.
Information I needed.
I’d wiped the cum off my foot in the bathroom, but my shoe was still sticky, and holy crap, I can’t believe Levi did that. Or that I egged him on. Rudd would never have dared, and I idly wondered how Zara Michaels was enjoying polite thrusting in the missionary position with the lights dimmed and Rudd’s socks firmly in place. Still, she was a celeb. Someone would send her a free vibrator if she plugged it on BuzzHub.
