“What?” I ask.
“You get a little pussy, and you go soft. The Hades I know would be all, ‘I’m going to the clubhouse, and you’re going with me, Princess. Don’t you dare argue.’” She starts giggling at her faux male voice.
I shake my head. “Keep it up, and I’ll take you over my knee.”
I tickle her side, making her laugh.
She is laughing so hard as she screams out, “You’re going to make me pee. Stop it. Oh god. Please stop.”
I open my arms, letting her escape, smiling as she runs out of the room, glancing back at me. My eyes take in her naked form, loving that I had a chance to experience that. Even if she decides she doesn’t want to go further, I will remember this for the rest of my life.
I lie in bed another moment before I pull myself from the bed, getting dressed for the day.
Once Evelyn comes back, she gives me a kiss before she moves to her dresser to pick out her own clothes.
Almost as if we have been doing this for longer than a couple weeks, we move around each other like it’s natural. We brush our teeth next to each other. Brush our hair one after the other. Then we each head into the kitchen. While I move to the fridge to grab the creamer, Evelyn makes us each a coffee in a to-go cup. I doctor up hers the way she likes it, leaving mine black.
I lean against the counter, drinking mine as I watch her.
“What?” she asks.
I smile. “You’re beautiful. Do you want to take your car or ride my bike?”
She pauses. “I haven’t been on a bike in ages. Is yours even equipped to have a rider?”
“Not exactly, but you can ride with me. You’ll be safe. I promise.”
“I know. I’m always safe with you.” She steps closer, her hand reaching out for mine.
We finish our coffee quickly after that, before Evelyn goes to her room and comes out with a leather jacket. She looks sexy as hell. I want to fuck her right then and there.
I have a meeting to get to, though.
With amazing willpower, I manage to pull her from the house and get her on the back of my bike. I give her the helmet, knowing it goes against club rules, but I won’t have her be unsafe.
Then I set out toward the clubhouse.
I’m so busy focusing on the feel of her against my back that I almost miss the red and blue lights behind me. I curse under my breath before pulling over.
“Dismount from the bike,” the cop yells.
I help Evelyn off before I do the same.
“Walk back toward me.”
We do as he asks. As soon as I am within his reach, he has me turned and against his car, cuffs going on my wrists.
Evelyn doesn’t say a word, but I see her discreetly using her phone.
“It’s illegal to be riding without your helmet. Do you have anything on your bike or person that I should know about? Drugs? Guns? Anything sharp that might hurt me?”
“No, sir,” I say, remaining polite.
The man turns to Evelyn then.
“A girl like you should be more careful. How do you know this man?” he asks her.
“I believe we have a right to remain silent until our attorney is present, and he is on his way as we speak,” she tells him.
