He gentled his grip. “That can’t be undone. So you need to find a way to accept who you are. That doesn’t mean you are a monster or a coldhearted killer or whatever story you tell yourself. That is something you did to help those you love and protect your family. Understand?”

Hamish didn’t open his eyes and didn’t look at him.

Brodie kissed the place where his teeth had scraped. “Use your words.”

“No.”

Brodie kissed down Hamish’s throat, and bit him, licking up a couple of drops of blood before the water could wash them away.

Hamish flinched. “You can’t just bite me.”

“So tell me to stop.” He bit him again, no harder or deeper, just enough for a couple of drops to coat his tongue.

Hamish’s back arched. Brodie waited for a couple of seconds, but when he didn’t say anything, he simply moved further down his neck and bit again.

“I don’t want to like it.”

“The biting? Even if you hadn’t been blooded, there is a very good chance you would’ve liked it. I did.” And he’d also enjoyed biting and leaving his teeth impressions on a lover’s skin.

“Why am I not surprised?”

Brodie bit him again for that. “Are you jealous because I’m not afraid to explore who I am and what I like?”

“I don’t know. No one has ever…done what you do.”

Brodie licked the curve of his ear. “Just admit that you like giving up control and doing what I tell you.”

“No.”

Brodie smiled, feeling the spark rush through Hamish’s body. That’s it, come back to me. Garrick probably wouldn’t approve of his methods, but he was keeping his promise and looking after Hamish. He nipped his ear and sucked on the lobe.

Hamish tried to smother a groan. His hips pressed against Brodie’s, his hard dick grinding against him. “I hate that it only takes a few words…”

“So terrible,” Brodie agreed as he turned Hamish’s head, forcing eye contact. “That you let me do all kinds of things to you.” His hand slid between them and grasped Hamish’s dick, giving it a stroke. “That you choose to play instead of using your words.”

He held Hamish’s gaze. Hamish gave the smallest nod as if he understood the question that Brodie hadn’t asked out loud. “And what are your words?”

“That’s a trick question.”

“It’s actually not. It’s to make sure you remember.”

Hamish frowned. “You really want me to say it?”

“I do.”

“I’m sorry.”

“Thank you. Was it that hard?”

Hamish rolled his eyes. “I don’t need to do everything you say.”

“True, but I will remember. You still have a mess to clean up. There is a scrubbing brush for your nails.” He released Hamish and pointed at the shower caddy.

Hamish’s eyebrows pulled together. “I thought…”

“You need to clean up.”

“I knew it was a trick question.”
