Hamish turned the laptop and tried to sound enthusiastic. “One gag coming up.”
If he hadn’t been worried about something else being added to his cart for future punishments, he’d have made a gagging noise for effect. Before he went looking for gags, he checked what she’d put in the cart.
He should’ve been faster. He should’ve been on a different page. Any page.
It was definitely sculptural; it had a slight curve and was made up of what looked like five cock heads stacked on top of one another, each fatter than the previous, and it had a lovely loop to hold to make it easier to fuck someone over. It was not the kind of thing one kept around the house as an oversized paperweight.
It was also not the kind of thing he wanted inserted. It was too rigid and too much.
The door closed.
Fuck. He hadn’t found a gag.
He typed it into the search bar, which gave him several pages of options.
“Do you understand why she told you to buy a gag?”
“Yes, I’m not stupid…but sometimes my mouth moves faster than my brain.” He clicked on something that looked like a silicone horse bit and added it to the cart.
“Good. While she is my sister, I still give her the deference due to her position. You do not get to treat her like your sister-in-law. You do not speak to her as if you are equals. You shouldn’t speak to her unless she has asked you to speak.”
“Next time I’ll tip my hat and all.” Hamish touched his head.
“Would you talk to Ann the way you just spoke to her?”
“No, but Ann would not walk in while I’m sitting naked, shopping on your favorite sex toy store.” He saw the look on Brodie’s face. “Please don’t prove that point.”
“And why shouldn’t I? Why shouldn’t I take you back to the bungalow for our next meeting and keep you naked at my feet? At least that way I know you won’t be getting into any trouble.”
Hamish held Brodie’s gaze and knew that he would do just that. He would do whatever was needed to make him fall into line. If he pushed, that is exactly where he’d find himself, but as tempting as it was to call Brodie’s bluff, he was not prepared to lose what little dignity he had.
“I’m sorry. I will not do it again.”
“Not do what?”
“Everything?”
“Be specific, Hamish.” Brodie took the laptop off him and tapped the screen. Had he just processed the order? “I’m waiting.”
“I won’t question Vivian when she gives me an order.”
“Good. An interesting selection. Fingers crossed, we haven’t missed the courier cut-off, and it will arrive tomorrow. If not, it will definitely be here the next day.”
He was not prepared for it to arrive anytime in the near future.
“About that…I’m really not sure about…”
Brodie lifted his eyebrows. “You made the selections.”
“Vivian made one of them.”
“You brought that on yourself, and she’s right; you didn’t listen to the instructions.” He closed the laptop. “Right. I think it’s time to go home.”
“Great.” He hopped off the sideboard.
Brodie turned. “I didn’t tell you to get down.”
“But I said sorry?”
