A third.

He shifted his weight centered on Toren so he could squeeze both of their dicks in his fist. Toren’s shaft was so thick, so hot to the touch.

“I need a cigarette if you want to get another one out of me,” Toren told him with a tired smile.

Andrew knew most people would find the smoking repulsive. He normally would have as well, but it was so hot when Toren did it, the way his lips wrapped around the filter, the way his cheeks hollowed on the inhale. Maybe that made it easy for Andrew to pretend it was his cock in Toren’s mouth instead.

“I won’t stop you,” he said, rolling onto his back to Toren could crawl out of bed.

Andrew waited until Toren was seated on the patio with a white hotel robe on, not belted, and a cigarette hanging out of his mouth before he climbed out of bed and fished his cell phone out of the pocket of his pants. He took note of the time, almost midnight, before swiping to his messages app to read the three he’d received from the time he’d reserved a car back to the hotel and that very moment.

Dave

Hope you had fun with your brothers this weekend

Can’t wait for you to get home tomorrow

Love you, babe

CHAPTER 3

Toren

Toren woke up the next morning with a massive headache and a mouth that tasted like ash. Andrew was asleep beside him, stomach down with his arms folded like a pillow beneath his cheek. Toren sighed, studying the man who was objectively the most attractive of the Covington bloodline, wondering to himself how messy it would be if he and Andrew were to ever get seriously involved. There had to be some familial word for being in a relationship with the half-brother of your former brother-in-law’s boyfriend even though he sincerely hoped there wasn’t.

With a weary sigh, Toren slipped out of bed and tiptoed to the balcony. The half-drunk bottle of vodka still sat on the table, alongside the two empty glasses, Toren’s cigarettes, and his cell phone. He hadn’t even thought about bringing it inside last night, let alone charging it, and he wasn’t surprised to find the battery at eight percent when he clicked the button on the side to wake it up.

He had a text message from Riggs asking if he’d made it back to the hotel all right and if they were still on for brunch. He answered with a quick apology for not replying sooner and said lunch was more likely, then he set his phone face down again on the table and reached for his cigarettes. He’d taken three drags when the door behind him opened and closed. Andrew collapsed into the other chair like his limbs didn’t work, and Toren silently compared his height and build to Finn Covington.

“How long have you been awake?” Andrew asked, voice still thick with sleep/

Toren held up his cigarette, ash still gathered on the tip. “This long.”

Andrew hummed and let his head fall back, eyes closed. “What time were you planning to head back to San Diego?”

“I’m supposed to grab lunch with Riggs and Smith before I hit the road, so probably after lunch. What about you?”

“Whenever I want.”

“No goodbyes with your brothers?” he asked.

Andrew shook his head. “We had dinner on Friday and that was nice, but they’re a lot.”

Toren made an agreeable sound in the back of his throat. He hadn’t spent a lot of time with the Covington brothers, but they were absolutely a handful. He couldn’t even begin to imagine what it must have been like when they were younger, Finn and Hunter especially. He’d heard Smith jokingly refer to the middle brothers as twins, and Toren could see it, even if the comparison stung and reminded him too much of his own losses.

“Can I see you again?” Andrew asked, both of them looking straight ahead and not at each other.

Toren flicked the cherry off his cigarette and into the ash tray, wondering to himself if there was a right answer or not. The night before had been amazing. Andrew was an extremely generous lover, and Toren would have been lying if he said he didn’t want to know what it would be like to have penetrative sex with him. He wasn’t sure if he wanted a boyfriend, though—or anything serious, for that matter—and even less sure if he wanted that man to be Andrew.

Instead of saying any of that out loud, he glanced at Andrew and asked, “When?”

“Tomorrow after work,” Andrew answered.

Toren exhaled a laugh. “Not tonight?”

“Eager much?” Andrew stretched his foot out and pressed his toes against Toren’s bare ankle. “You can come over tonight if you want.”

The words were thick with promise and Toren hated how much he wanted to do exactly that.
