“And?”
“They said as long as you’re not Dave or dating Dave, they like you.”
Toren snorted, taking a drag off his cigarette and putting the butt out in the ashtray. He French-inhaled the exhale, grinning at the way Andrew groaned.
“Has anyone told you that you probably have a smoking kink?” Toren teased.
“I think I have a you kink.”
There was something heavy in the simple confession, a sort of want that Toren had never experienced in his life, but he understood the truth behind the words. There wasn’t a single thing he could think of Andrew doing that wouldn’t turn him on. Sitting in the yard talking about their week and having beers had no right being as hot as it was. What else could Andrew turn into something sexual? Hell, he wasn’t even trying to turn Toren on, and Toren certainly wasn’t trying to turn Andrew on in return. There was just….something.
“Can I ask you something?” Toren took a drink of his beer, half of it already gone.
“Anything.”
“I haven’t been with anyone in a long time, besides you. Not since before my brother died. Is it…is it always like this for you? Is it always this much?”
Andrew worried the inside of his cheek so aggressively, Toren could see it hollow out under the pressure. Andrew winced, drank some beer, drank some more beer, and finally shook his head. “No. It’s not always this much. This—”
“Overwhelming.”
“Consuming,” he corrected.
“You are good at eating.”
Andrew chuckled, shaking his head again. “Was that a joke?”
“I think the way you eat ass is very serious.”
“It’s just you,” Andrew said, expression going absolutely solemn in a way that took Toren’s breath away. “I don’t know how to explain it.”
“I’m glad I’m not the only one.”
“I wanted to die when you said you wouldn’t see me earlier this week.”
“I jerked off every night thinking about you,” Toren promised.
Andrew exhaled a long breath, eyes dark. “I’m trying so hard to talk to you right now.”
Toren’s chest ached for how strongly his heart beat against his sternum. He drank some more of his beer and had to look away from Andrew, because if he met the other man’s stare, he would fold like a lawn chair. He didn’t want this thing between them to only be sex, but the sex was impossible to ignore. Everything they did was foreplay, Toren realized. Every touch, every conversation, every drink of beer, all of it.
“What are you thinking about?” Toren asked, staring straight ahead.
“Honestly?”
“Always.”
“I’m thinking about getting on my knees between your legs,” Andrew said quietly. “Thinking about you lighting up another cigarette and jerking off while you smoke it. I’m thinking about fucking you while you smoke, riding you with that cigarette hanging out of your mouth and your cock stretching me open.”
Toren’s dick throbbed, and Andrew let out a self-deprecating laugh.
“I haven’t bottomed in so long, that’s certainly not on the table tonight, but it’s still nice to think about. A little redirect, and you’re coming on my face, smearing it all over my cheeks and my neck and my chest.”
“Do I leave it to dry or do I clean you up?” Toren asked, words rough in his throat.
“Leave it.”
“You’re filthy.”
