I nod my head and Vittorio thanks her, not understanding that she is planning on bringing him to his actual daddy and Vittorio will never see my boy again. The next thing I know Dr. Mercer is walking around adjusting my bed for travel.

“I’ll send your man in when we get out the door.”

Vittorio nods.

“Alright, miss, let's get you taken care of.”

He pushes the bed out of the room and as soon as we go past the door frame I hear him say that whoever can go in. What I see as I am being pushed out is a sea of men in leather cuts and tears start to fall out of my eyes. There are Skullz cuts, Devil’s Chaos cuts, Untamed Rebels Cuts and there are also men in suits. He gets my bed out the door and around the corner and I see that some of the men move into the room and shouting begins. As we get a little further down the hall I spot two of my boys. A sob escapes me and Cane runs towards the bed holding Walker who is clinging to him with tears running down his face.

“You’re okay, baby. We got you.”

He leans in and presses his forehead to mine.

“Lets move you to another room over here, I’m not sure what all is going to be happening when they come out with Vittorio. Don’t want to scar the boy anymore.” Dr. Mercer says as he wheels us into the next room we come to.

Once he gets me set up with my IV and everything in the room he wheeled us in he looks at me, “I’m going to get an ultrasound tech in here and check out on your baby so we can see how far along you are and to see if it is okay after everything. I know the bloodwork is still saying you are pregnant so that is a positive sign.”

“Thank you, Dr. Mercer.” Cane says as he sits down with Walker next to me.

He grabs my hand being careful because of the cast that I have on it, “Are you okay, Liza? Fuck. I am so glad to see you baby, but who did this to you?”

I’m still crying and I am so thankful that I am here right now. I lift my other hand and bring it to his face.

“Is this real? Like am I free of him?”

He turns his head and kisses my palm, “I’m always going to come for you baby. No matter what. But I want you to hear this, you are NEVER going to have to deal with that part of that family again. We are taking care of them.Everyone came together for their family.”

“Thank you for coming and saving me.”

“I love you, Liza, with everything that I am. I have so much to make up for and I plan to spend the rest of my life making sure you know how sorry I am for the time we lost.”

The knock comes and the ultrasound tech comes in with a smile.

“Hi, I’m here to take a little look at your baby. Dr. Mercer put in the order, but I think he is passing your case on to another doctor since you are no longer emergent.”

She walks over and begins setting up her machine, “Alright, we are going to do transvaginal ultrasound to see how far along you are.”

It doesn’t take long before we are seeing a screen with a beautiful picture of a baby.

“It looks like you are about nine weeks along. Everything looks to be developing well.”

She turns on the sound and you can hear the most beautiful sound in the world coming through the speaker and I lose it. I didn’t know if the baby was okay, I didn’t even know about this baby before I was brought to the hospital and I am thankful that I got out of that situation before that psychopath did something to harm the baby.

“I’m going to take some images and have the doctor look at it and I’m sure someone will be in to talk to you about everything. Do you want copies of pictures?”

“Yes, we would love some.” Cane responds to the tech.

After she takes her photos and prints some out for us she heads out and I don’t think I have stopped crying since she said everything looks alright with the baby. I know that the doctor still has to clear everything, but for the first time since everything has happened I am feeling a sense of peace. The men that have haunted my nightmares are no longer going to be hunting me and I can finally feel a sense of peace.

About an hour later, Walker is sleeping in Cane’s arms and I have taken a nap. The silence would normally eat at me, but it is something very comfortable. There is a knock on the door and before anyone answers a head peaks in.

“Harlan.” I whisper in relief at the sight of the big brother I have not seen in five years.

“Hey, baby sister. I know you guys probably wanted some down time, but I’ve got a couple someones who really missed you out here.”

He opens the door further and a tiny little blur of sandy brown head with massive curls runs towards the bed.

“MAMA!!!”
