Three agonizing hours later we finally touched down at the airport in Richmond. I hurry and grab my shit before climbing down the steps on their airstrip. I nearly start to breakdown when I see that Twister, Lash, Sophie and my fucking dad are standing there waiting for me.

“What are you doing here?”

“My boys needed me. I flew in after Terror got word about Ruby. Then I was told after I got here about everything that is going on with you and I am here to help.”

“We’ve already got a bunch of people on it to help. The Sirens that are in town are helping, trying to find anything, The Skullz are on their way, Moretti wants to help after what we found on the security camera at the hospital.”

I snap my head up and look at Sophie.

“Not here.” Lash says as he directs us all into their waiting SUV.

Twister comes over and pulls me in for a hug.

“We are going to find them and get them back. I promise you that. We are going to tear those assholes apart.” He whispers to me before he climbs into the back of the SUV leaving Lash driving, my dad in the passenger seat and Twister, Sophie and I in the backseat.

The car starts and we begin to head out towards the direction of the clubhouse.

“Tell me what the fuck is going on. What did you all find?”

Sophie looks at me and then over at Twister. Twister sighs and runs his hand down his face.

“It’s the Bellandi’s. Domino recognized his three half brothers on the security camera. He was concerned that he had not seen them in the hospital because it appears that they have been following him for a while. However, it appears that once they saw Liza and Walker leave the waiting room, one of the men took a very large interest in her and the three of them followed her to the restroom where she was drugged and abducted. We don’t know what they said to Walker to get him to keep quiet, but something was said and they were able to leave with both of them fairly quickly.” Twister says.

“How in the hell did they manage to take an unconscious woman and a child from the hospital without staff or anyone noticing?”

“They appeared to have some help on staff at the hospital. Doc is going over everything to see the members on the security system that helped them. We should have more answers when we get back to the hospital.” Sophie says.

“Domino put word out to his brothers and they are headed this way from North Carolina. It seems their father is here. They don’t have a lot of information because lately their father has kept his circle a lot tighter than he used to. We don’t have all the answers, but from what we know they have not moved her out of the city. So we are trying to figure out safehouses that they possibly have here.”

“Your cousin from Untamed wanted to come, but we had to tell them that right now we have reinforcements and if something happens and we need them to step in we will call them. I don’t know how everything is going to go with the Skullz coming in, the Bellandi’s, the Moretti’s and the Sirens all showing up.” dad states.

“Where are Waylon and Jaxon?”

“They are at the clubhouse, brother. We are heading there to put a game plan together and to see if we can track these men. Hopefully, Domino’s brothers can offer some help with that.” Twister says.

I nod my head and look out the window. I don’t know what to say or do, but I know that I am going to burn this world down to get to Liza and Walker. No one and I don’t care if it is some big ass mafia ass hole, no one messes with my family. No one takes my family away from me. I can’t even imagine how Liza is feeling or even how Walker is doing. I am terrified about the fact that my woman is in the clutches of some psycho that was involved in hurting her. I am only praying that they will not hurt them.

My mind goes back to everything that happened to my mother, everything that Liza already survived at the hands of these monsters. All of a sudden I feel my chest tightening and I’m finding it hard to breathe. I put my head down between my legs and Twister shifts next to me. He leans down.

“Cane, it’s going to be okay. We are going to find them.”

“How do you know, Cannon? We thought we would find mama too and look what happened. The assholes that got her were some fucking bikers trying to take territory, these are men that want ot shut her up. They are mafia. They are men that have been looking for her for years because of the fact some asshole was holding her captive for a year and everything that she could’ve heard. What are these men going to do to her? What have they already done to her? What are they doing to Walker? They’ve had them for an entire day. I feel like the club and myself have failed them. I feel like everything we stand for and how we are supposed to protect our families and our women and these people are just coming and doing all this shit taking our women. Hurting our women. I mean we look like fucking chumps. How the hell is it possible for all this shit to keep fucking happening? What if what happened to mama, happens to Liza? I haven’t even gotten time to actually be with her. I haven’t gotten the time to show her how much she means to me. I pushed her away to keep this situation from happening, but it seems that I couldn’t stop something because she was already involved in shit.

My heart hurts. I feel like a part of me was just stripped away, what am I going to tell my boys if something happens to their mama? How the fuck am I going to go on? Then Walker, what the hell am I going to do if we can’t find him? I will burn this damn world down, but I need them, Cannon.”

He puts his hand on my back, “Liza is not mama. We are going to find her. That girl handled herself for one full year of all the shit she did. We might not have all the details, but we know it was a nightmare. She’s a strong girl and she knows this world. She can handle herself. We just have to have faith that we have all the people on our team that will help us get both Liza and Walker back in one piece.Everyone is here for you. We are going to get all the assholes that have fucked with our family. I know you’re scared and I know you are having traumatic flashbacks at what happened to mama happening to Liza, but that’s not going to happen. You have to stay strong for your boys and for Liza. You can do this, no breaking down. When we get these assholes you’ll be able to show them when they don’t mess with Devil’s Chaos.”

After that the rest of the ride back to the clubhouse is quiet and I continue to keep my head down. I just want to get to my kids and find out where the hell these bastards took my family.

Chapter Twenty-Six

Liza

It’s been a few days since I’ve been taken from the hospital and the only person I have seen is a woman that appears to work in this house we are in. She provides me with food and water. The meals are decent and not what you would expect for someone that is being treated like a prisoner. Every time she comes into the room I ask her about Walker and am greeted with nothing but silence. I have tried to get out the door, but it is locked and when I listen there is talking on the other side, so I know that there are men watching the door. They are all speaking in Italian so I cannot catch what they are saying.

Honestly, I wish my father made me learn the languages of the people in our world like Cane’s parents did so that they could interact and know what the enemy was saying. I have tried the windows, with no luck. They are bolted shut and from the looks of it, I am so far up that I would not be able to climb down. I want to know where my son is. I am terrified that they have done something to him. The day we got here and the conversation I overheard had me even more terrified. They believe Walker is the son of the man that took us. I mean I know it is a possibility, but what if he isn’t are they going to hurt him? Sell him? The thought alone has made me cry. I haven’t been sleeping, I’ve been terrified of what would happen to me if I fell asleep. It has been a long few days.

I have been pacing the room for who knows how long because I have no phone, no clock, nothing in this room to help me tell time. The only way I know how many days I’ve been here is because I can see the sun rise and set with the window. I need to figure out how to get out of this situation.
