“That is not helpful.” I tore my gaze away from the sight.

“But it feels so good,” he teased. “Not as good as having you inside me. Nothing has ever felt as good as you.”

“Mason,” I growled in warning, but I was steadier now, which meant I was ready to turn the tables on him.

“I think…oh god…” His voice dissolved into a moan when I withdrew most of the way before pushing back into him. Then again, gradually quickening my pace.

“More?” I hooked one arm under his knee, bending his leg back. “Harder?”

He nodded, trapping his bottom lip between his teeth.

“I don’t know.” I taunted him with a few shallow thrusts. “Are you sure you can take it?”

Mason flashed sharp canines at me. “Stop. Teasing. Me.”

I leaned down and flicked my tongue over his lips. “Okay.”

He gasped when I drew back and snapped my hips forward.

“Yes,” he groaned. “Like that.”

I let loose, driving deep, over and over. Beneath me, Mason panted and begged; his hands dragged down my back, fingers digging into my flesh, urging me on. I adjusted the angle of my body so my abdomen dragged over his cock. Once. Twice. Three times. His back bowed and he cried out, spilling onto both of our stomachs and chests. I snarled when his body clamped around me and then I was coming, my thrusts erratic as I emptied into him.

I shook from head to toe with the echoes of impossible pleasure. I’d imagined this so many times and it was more than I ever dreamt of. Being that close to Mason, becoming part of him, claiming him in an irrevocable way. It was everything.

I was still catching my breath when Mason dragged me down to kiss me. His body was trembling, too.

“Was that as amazing for you as it was for me?” he asked quietly, as if he was anxious about what I would say.

“It was unbelievable,” I told him. “I don’t know how to describe how good it was.”

His smile was like the sun breaking over the horizon. I ran my fingers along his cheek bone, my feelings suddenly so overwhelming I felt my throat close. I might have been self-conscious, but Mason’s eyes were shining with emotions that mirrored mine.

I carefully withdrew from him, rolling onto my side and pulling him against me. We held each other for a long time, exchanging tender kisses and basking in the afterglow.

“We should probably clean up,” Mason said after a while.

“Probably.”

He was right, but I never wanted to stop holding him. Even the walk from the bed to the bathroom seemed too long without him tangled in my arms. Then I remembered…

“I forgot to mention: the bathroom is impressive. It has a gigantic rain shower head.”

Mason’s lips curved into a puckish smile. “That sounds promising.”

When Ren finished speaking, the mood at our lunch table was…tense. What our alpha wanted us to do, bringing the younger Nightshade and Bane packs together before the union, caught us all by surprise.

“You invited them to Eden.” Sabine bared her teeth at Ren. “Seriously?”
