Then again.
Slowly, because there’s no reason to rush. Because Evelyn has left half of my wife exposed, and I’m expected to stand here and behave reasonably about it.
Elena’s shoulders relax despite her continued attempt to look annoyed.
My mouth moves lower.
“Okay,” she protests breathlessly.
I kiss her again.
“Luciano.”
“Yes, princesa?”
“We’re not ruining this dress before the wedding.”
I straighten.
“I haven’t touched the dress.”
“You’re kissing your way down my back.”
“Not the dress.”
She turns carefully to face me.
“I know what you’re trying to do.”
“I’m not trying to do anything.”
Her look tells me exactly how little she believes that.
I put my hands on her waist.
“I mean, after all, Elena, we started at a wedding.”
Her eyes narrow.
“And we’re not doing what we did at that wedding right now.”
“I wasn’t suggesting it.”
“You were absolutely suggesting something.”
My gaze travels over the ivory dress again.
Soft fabric. My ring on her finger, another to be added soon.
Then I picture her on her knees in it.
Fuck.
“I can’t wait to have you kneeling in this dress.”
Her mouth falls open before curling in to a smirk immediately betrays her. “Get out.”
I chuckle. “I’m going.”
