They work her together—Zephyr coaxing pleasure from every touch, Throne marking her with controlled strikes.

When her thighs begin to tremble and her breathing breaks, Zephyr lifts his head and glances at me.

He wants permission to take her over the edge.

I let him wait.

One second. Two.

Then I give him a single nod.

I still don’t move.

I watch her breathing. Her hands. The tension in her shoulders. The way she tests the cuffs without ever trying to leave the scene. I watch Zephyr soften each edge Throne creates. I watch Throne turn every soft sound into obedience.

Obsidian only looks like chaos from the outside. Inside, every movement has purpose.

My phone vibrates against the table.

I don’t answer calls during a scene. I don’t allow anyone else to, either.

But then I see the name on the screen.

Casimir Nowak. Leader of the Polish Syndicate.

Casimir doesn’t call for pleasantries. He barely tolerates them in person.

Something cold moves through me.

Zephyr notices first, his expression sharpening. Throne follows. These men have known me long enough to understand my silence.

“Finish the scene,” I tell Zephyr. “Aftercare. Full check-in. No shortcuts.”

His mouth tightens, but he nods. “Handled.”

Good.

Whatever Casimir is calling about, it doesn’t belong in this room. Not near her. Not inside a scene built on trust.

I step into the hall and answer, my voice already calm.

“Casimir.”

His words hit like a blade. “Word is Adriana’s been taken.”

Everything in me goes still. “Explain.”

Details come rapid-fire. A mole inside my new brother-in-law’s organization. Her last known location. Her husband supposedly coming in blind with a trade, life for a life. Amato has either lost his mind or never possessed one.

Rage coils tight in my chest, but my voice stays ice. “You have men on site? I’m sending mine and calling in Korsakov. Lock every channel. No one moves until I give the order.”

I end the call and immediately dial my right hand, Rafael, as I stride for the front door. “Get me men. Snipers first. Pull every favor. If my sister is dead, so is Amato.”
