“Yes.”
“And you’re agreeing with me?”
“I didn’t say you should have hurt her feelings…”
I bite my lip. “But?”
He smirks. “But I understand the impulse.”
A chuckle slips out of me before I can stop it.
Three seconds later, he ruins it. “Anyway, if you’d like to learn, we can start by going over your questionnaire.”
I stop existing.
My soul leaves my body and files a complaint while heat races from my chest to my face.
As if discovering he read it wasn’t enough, now he wants to discuss it.
“What’s there to go over?”
“For starters, you have very few hard limits.”
My fingers tighten around my napkin. “It was just a form. I clicked things.”
“You chose curious quite a lot.”
I gesture toward his empty hands. “You don’t even have the questionnaire.”
“I remember it.”
“You memorized my sex questionnaire?”
“Every answer.”
“That’s deranged.”
“Careful, princesa. That almost sounded like concern.”
My thighs press together under the table before I can stop them, and I hate that his voice can do that. I hate it more that he probably knows.
“So what if I chose curious,” I manage.
“Curious isn’t a hard limit,” he says. “I need to know exactly where the boundary is before I put my hands on you again.”
Again.
The word slides over my skin as if another time is already decided. As if the bathroom was a beginning neither of us has admitted to.
“Experience level: very limited,” he continues. “Only had sex once.” He pauses. “Me, I presume, Lena?”
“Duh. Don’t ask ridiculous questions.”
“Full disclosure, princesa. We’re experimenting with it.”
“I’m the one who wrote the answer. You know what I meant. I wanted it. I got it. Next.”
“I know you wanted it.”
