“You’re killing me here,” I say, grinding into her palm.
“I’d rather you didn’t die on me,” she says, before pressing a kiss against my chest.
“That’s impossible…” My voice trails off as she slides her lips across my pec and closes her mouth over my nipple, her teeth tugging on the piercing. “Damn it, Edie. I take it back. If you keep doing that, I might die if you don’t let me fuck you right here and now against your wall.”
She giggles against my chest, her palm rubbing my cock over my trousers as she sucks on my nipple.
“Aunt Edie, where are you?” Nina calls out, and just like that, Edie lets me go and ducks beneath my arm, leaving me rock hard and breathless.
“I’m coming,” she calls back, her hand pressed against her door frame as she looks over at me, smile wide, eyes full of mischief.
“I was about to,” I say, adjusting my cock and groaning at how fucking sensitive it is. “I might still.”
“No,” Edie snaps.
“You use that word far too much for my liking,” I respond, doing up my shirt buttons before blowing out a breath.
She shrugs. “I like the idea of you desperate to come but not being able to, so bite me.”
“Believe me, I want to,” I retort, reaching for her and tugging her back into my arms.
Before she has time to deny me or push me away again, I slam my mouth against hers and kiss her like a desperate man. Because that’s exactly what I am at this moment.
Desperate.
Needy.
Fucking weak for this woman.
My tongue invades her mouth, and I take. I swallow her moans, her whimpers, and I fuck her mouth with my tongue, making sure she knows that whilst I may have allowed her to exert some control over me, I am still the dominant one here.
Reaching between us, I palm her breast, feeling the weight of it in my hand. Then I pinch her nipple, twisting it lightly just to see how she reacts.
“Dorian,” she moans, her body melting into mine as I tease her nipple, pulling and twisting, alternating between being gentle and a little rough.
Then I step back, chest heaving, and say, “If I can’t come, then neither can you. If I find out you’ve used your fingers, or anything else, to help you orgasm, there’ll be consequences. Tomorrow night I’m taking you out. Be ready at eight.”
Before she’s even able to respond, I turn on my heel and stride towards my car, hoping she defies me so I can punish her for it.
Chapter 6
Edie
“You seem a little on edge. What’s up?” Henrietta asks as I nurse my gin and tonic, the Take That tribute band’s absolute destruction of my favourite tune, Pray, making me want to pluck my eyes out.
“Nothing’s wrong. I was just up late last night with Nina and I’m still recovering,” I lie.
The truth is, I’ve spent the entire evening watching the pub’s entrance wondering whether Dorian will come storming in and demand why I stood him up. But he’d have to know where I am first, and I doubt he’d have any inkling I’m sitting in my local pub acting as a wing woman for my best friend.
“I adore Nina. She’s full of fire,” Henrietta says, distracting me from my thoughts. “In a few years, she’ll be a ball-buster just like her mum. How is Beth, anyway? Is she still happily single and chasing off men with a stick?”
“Elizabeth’s good. Excellent, actually. She’s a fabulous mum, and a far better role model than I could ever hope to be,” I say, taking a sip of my drink, and forcing myself not to look at the door for the millionth time tonight.
“Don’t sell yourself short. You’re amazing. Dorian seemed to think so too…” Her voice trails off as she leans in closer, waggling her brows. “Please tell me you’ve seen him again.”
I shake my head. “Not since the video call.”
Again, another lie. If I tell her he turned up unannounced at my house last night, or that we made out in my front garden for anyone to see, she’ll want every candid detail, and I’m not in the right frame of mind to relive that moment just now. Nor am I willing to confess I’ve stood him up, too. She’ll throw a hissy-fit, and I just can’t deal with it. I’m tense enough as it is.
