“Of course Peyton, you can always ask me anything. We’re friends.”

“Do you know what’s going on with Parker? I don’t want to break your trust with her or anything, but she won’t talk to me. Now I find out she’s moving and she hasn’t said anything to me since mom was killed and even that was forced.”

“She hasn’t reached out to you about the triplets?”

“No, I haven’t heard anything and she hasn’t even met them.”

“Well fuck. Okay, well since she’s decided to be a bitch and not talk to you, I’m going to tell you what I know. Somebody’s got to talk some sense into someone.”

“Okay. So what’s going on? Like it can’t all be because I switched schools and moved. I wasn’t even really living there that long, a year and that was it. Now I’m back, so I don’t get that.”

“Well I know that her stuff started while you were away on spring break. She told Rose and I some of what happened there. From what I’ve gathered, Doc really fucked up.”

“Like fucked up how? I mean Whip fucked up while we were there and that was shit. But I barely saw her and Doc interacting while we were there.”

“Well let’s just say that one night they were drinking together and one thing led to another and they ended up hooking up.”

“NO!”

“Yeah, she told us that even though they were both pretty drunk, it was really amazing. I mean ballsy of her to have her first time drunk and everything.”

I slap my hand on my forehead because how the hell had I forgot that part of the equation. While I was not a virgin going into my little situationship with Whip, Peyton had been holding out. She was holding out for Doc even though she was unsure that anything would go that way.

“Okay, so they hooked up when they were drunk and then what?”

“Well, I guess the next morning he woke up and was freaking out. Told her it was a mistake, that it never should’ve happened. That he never would’ve slept with her if he was sober. A bunch of stuff about how she was a child, how she was Terror’s little sister and he doesn’t know what got into him the night before. Added some shit about the fact that he was worked up by one of the club whores before he started drinking. All sorts of fucked up shit like that. While as you can expect she was devastated. Then you told her you were staying and she didn’t want to ruin what was going on with you, so she just kept it all to herself. She was pissed that you found something with Knox and pissed you were staying. Pissed she couldn’t tell you what had happened because she felt like it would ruin things for you and she wanted you to be happy even though she was heartbroken you weren't coming home.

I guess shit went back to normal when they came back here, except she went out of her way to ignore him. Wouldn’t be in the room with him for very long. I think after she walked out of his room that morning he realized what he had done. I mean she was a virgin and she did bleed. I’m assuming he saw the evidence of it after she left. She told me he was trying to talk to her and she kind of would avoid any type of interaction with him. Getting up whenever he sat down trying to tell her they needed to talk. Well then your mama died. I guess in the way of comforting her, he decided that his dick could do all the comforting. They hooked up a bunch after. She said that when you guys first found out your mama was missing they had sex before your mama was dropped off at the gate. She said she found him later that night and the same thing happened again. From my understanding it went on for a few weeks.

She told me she eventually asked him what they were doing and told him she had feelings for him. He was a moron again and ruined that. She didn’t tell me exactly what he said or did after that, but she was devastated. Whatever he did or said, was not great.”

What the fuck? This is a lot to take in and I feel like a shit sister for not knowing she was going through all of these things. She hooked up with Doc and didn’t even tell me? Man I was so wrapped up in what was going on with me I didn’t even ask my sister if everything was okay with her. What a bitch.

“So, she’s running.”

“I mean, maybe, I think she wants a fresh start that she can’t get here. I mean she got into law schools around here, but I think she wants to get far away from here. She told me she made sure that no one told Doc anything. She said she talked to your dad about everything with school in front of Wiz and it was understood that he wouldn’t say anything to Doc.”

“What a fucking moron! I can’t believe these stupid ass bikers. Like is part of their description to just fuck up and ruin a good thing when it comes to them. I’m so mad at myself too. Like really, I had to be that selfish that I didn’t even know what was going on with my twin sister.”

“Don’t blame yourself, Peyton. Parker should’ve said something instead of taking out all her anger and frustration on you.”

We continue to talk for another half hour about everything and I let her go so she can get the stuff she needs to get done for the boys. I pull up my text thread and send a message to my beautiful twin.

Me: Hey, dad told me you were moving. Congrats on the new school! I know you will do great. I also wanted to say that I’m sorry that you are going through stuff and don’t feel like you can talk to me. I miss you. I wish you luck with your new school and I hope that at some point you can forgive me for not being there for you when you needed me to be. I love you.

Then I go and search for a contact that I don’t often use and hit the text message icon.

Me: You are the biggest dick I know. I cannot believe the guy I looked up to as a big brother pulled the shit you did. I hope you realize all you’re about to lose. I also think you owe Parker a big ass thank you for not telling our dad or brothers what you did to her. You fucking asshole.

With that I close my phone and head out of the living room looking for the two dumbass bikers that want to be mine.

Finding them in the kitchen talking, I walk up to the counter and plop on top of it.

“What are you boys talking about?”

Knox and Cooper both stand up straight with Cooper walking in front of me and squeezing in between my legs.

“First off baby, we are not boys. We are men. Do we need to prove that to you?”
