“I want tae show ye,” she whispered in his ear, her hands on his shoulders, “but will ye pleasure me first, like ye did last night?”

With a low growl, he flipped her on her stomach, and the flame inside her sparked into life as she felt his hands working rapidly at the fastenings of her dress. They were soon loose enough for Diarmaid to pull it down over her hips, her legs, then her feet. She saw it land on the floor nearby. Her stays quickly followed.

Clad only in her shift and stockings, she felt Diarmaid poised above her, sensed his eyes burning into her skin as his hands suddenly slipped beneath her shift and cupped her breasts, pulling her upward against him, his warm breath tickling her neck.

Lillie gasped as he rolled her soft globes in his warm, rough palms, squeezing the flesh and pinching the soft tips until they turned hard at his touch, sending shivers of pleasure traveling the length of her body. His mouth roved hungrily over her exposed neck and shoulders, kissing, nuzzling, sucking and biting, and one hand trailed lazily from her breast, down her belly, where his fingers finally entwined in the soft, curling nest between her thighs.

Lillie trembled with anticipation, reveling in the sensation of his right hand still playing with her breasts, while the other slid between her thighs, his thick fingers prizing them apart just wide enough to grant him access to her hidden folds, which were already growing hot and moist. He cupped her entire sex in his palm, working his hand back and forth, while his fingers delved inside her, first one then another, his thumb strumming at her sensitive bud, making her moan and tremble with wanting.

With one fluid movement, Diarmaid suddenly turned her to face him, and just the sight of him, his eyes narrow and dark with desire as his head descended between her thighs let her feel her own power over him, immediately augmenting her desire to new heights.

I cannae help meself, I want him never tae stop!

Diarmaid’s hot, questing mouth plundered her flesh, teasing and toying with her sensitive bud, his tongue flickering like lightening in and out of her alongside his fingers. It was not long before Lillie could feel the waves of tantalizing heat coiling up from her molten center, where Diarmaid’s dark head was moving up and down as he worked his magic upon her.

“Ah, Diarmaid, please, dinnae stop,” she cried out softly, gripping his hair, matching every thrust of his fingers with her hips, riding him as the inexorable waves of pleasure began moving up her body like concentric rings, drawing her once more by slow, deliberate degrees to the delicious edge of delirium.

Her head thrown back, she bucked against him as the pleasure reached its ultimate peak and gripped her, shaking her entire being with its intensity as the waves crashed over her in a sudden, blissful rush.

Dazed and sated as she was, she had little time to act when she saw Diarmaid standing above her, his eyes pinning her as he kicked off his boots and tore off his jerkin and shirt. Lillie felt a burst of fresh desire to see his muscular torso revealed to her.

Power seemed to ripple through his entire body, the hard muscles flexing like ropes in his arms, shoulders, chest, and belly. She was entranced to see how the lamp light made the silver trails of his many battle scars shine like moonlight. Now just in his kilt, he made to undo the buckle when she suddenly stopped him.

“Nay, ’tis mine tae dae,” she told him breathily, levering herself up and pulling him down onto the bed with her. He laughed delightedly as, feeling bold, she straddled his waist, pressing the hot wetness of her sex against his belly. With a groan, he grasped her and pulled her close, nipping and sucking at her breasts playfully before his mouth captured hers and declared his ownership of her in a deep, intense kiss, his hands buried in her long blonde, tresses as they fell over him like a waterfall.

“’Tis me turn tae explore ye,” she whispered, excited to feel his rock-hard manhood pressing into her beneath the material of his kilt. “Yer mine just as I’m yers, and so I wish tae ken all of ye.”

“Aye,” he croaked, his eyes dark and liquid in the firelight as they held hers, “dae as ye will, Wife.” He stretched out, putting his hands behind his head, grinning at her wolfishly.

Thinking quickly, Lillie leaned over Diarmaid, distracting him by dangling her breasts temptingly over his mouth. He needed no inducement to taste the stiffened peaks into his mouth, feasting hungrily upon them with groans of satisfaction, oblivious to the fact she had grabbed the shawl she had left hanging over the headboard that morning.

“D’ye remember when ye first bought me at that auction?” she asked him softly, deliberately teasing him with her soft flesh.

“Mmmm,” he mumbled, devouring her.

“And ye tied me hands and feet.”

“Aye, I seem tae recall ye were fightin’ me so hard, I had nae choice,” he mumbled, smiling around a mouthful of her flesh.

“Well, I’m gonnae give ye a taste of yer own medicine,” she whispered in his ear, using her shawl to tie his hands to the carved columns set in the headboard. She pulled on the shawl, tying it as tightly as she could, remembering the knots Darragh had taught her years ago.

“What are ye doin’?” he suddenly asked, his mouth moving from her breasts as he tried to crane his head backwards, finally noticing what she was at.

“Why, what’s wrong? D’ye nae like bein’ tied?” she asked teasingly, her face hovering over his now. “Well, I didnae like it either. In fact, I seem tae remember beggin’ ye nae tae dae it. But ye did it anyway.”

“Lillie, what are ye up tae? Untie me, will ye?” he said warningly, trying to buck her off. She slipped off of him and onto the floor, standing above him, grinning mischievously as he bucked and kicked, fighting in vain to free his hands. “Lillie! Let me loose! If ye dinnae let me loose this instant—”

“Ye’ll what? Eh? What’ll ye dae tae me? Beat me? I dinnae what ye’re makin’ such a fuss about, “’tis nae more than ye did tae me. Now, ye can see what it feels like bein’ tied like a beast.”

“Lillie! Let me loose!” he demanded, his face growing red as he struggled.

Confident she was safe for the moment, Lillie ignored him as she donned her dress, put on her slippers, and rearranged her hair in the looking glass. Then, she stood by the bed and smiled at Diarmaid, who glared at her furiously. “Excuse me, Husband,” she said sweetly. “I have some errands tae attend tae. I’ll see ye later.” Stifling her laughter, she exited the room, shutting the door behind her.

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Odhrán’s journey back from the auction had not been a pleasant one. First, he had been filled with fury at having his prospective bride snatched from under his nose by that arrogant fool Diarmaid Kincaid. Second, he felt ashamed for having lost his temper and made a fool of himself in front of everyone when he knew he should have kept his cool.

Third, he had dreaded the forthcoming interview with his father. Once the laird learned what had happened, he would inevitably deem it yet another of his son’s failures. That risked him carrying out his threat to replace Odhrán as his heir with the hated Rollo.
