"Aye, I ken," his hands slipped lower, skimming just near her breasts. Her lips close to his. "Lara," he breathed, his voice filled with longing as he moved an inch way and felt the coldness of the air between them.

She opened her eyes. "Aye."

"We have arrived at the shore." He moved away from her even further, keeping his promise. The horse's hooves clip-clopped on the stone steps.

"Perhaps we should leave the rest for another time," he suggested gently, his voice thick with unspoken longing.

Lara’s cheeks were flushed and her breathing erratic, but she nodded in agreement. "Aye, another time."

"Very well," he murmured, but then she leaned back again, inviting him to have one last taste of her milky skin.

He leaned in closer, his breath warm on Lara's skin as he brushed his lips against her neck. He felt her pulse quicken beneath his touch, the tender flesh warm and inviting. He could sense her anticipation, feel the quiver that ran through her body as she fought to maintain control.

"Ye see?" he whispered against her skin, his words a gentle caress. "This is how it feels when ye allow yerself tae be open tae another. Ye shouldnae be ashamed." And run away.

Lara closed her eyes, her breath hitching as she allowed herself to fully experience the sensation of Darragh's lips on her neck. Her fingers gripped the reins tighter, knuckles turning white as she struggled to keep her composure.

"I… I never kenned," she admitted softly, her voice trembling. "It feels so… powerful."

"Aye," Darragh agreed.

She whispered, her voice thick with emotion. "I think I'm beginning tae understand."

He smiled, his fingers brushing against her cheek in a tender caress as he dismounted and helped her down from the saddle.
