With that, Marion jumped onto the bed and got close to Eiric, pressing a soft kiss on his lips. Eiric had all those wounds, all the bruises and scrapes, and he had lied to Marion about not being in pain, but none of it mattered to him anymore.
It didn’t matter at all, because he was in heaven.
Chapter Twenty-Three
Finding out that Eiric was not related to her by blood was the last thing that Marion had been expecting when she stepped into his chambers. But now there she was, in his bed, kissing him just like she had wanted to do for so long.
She could hardly believe it, but she trusted Eiric, and she knew that he was telling her the truth. Besides, it was a secret that could ruin him and his family, and she doubted that he would have told her anything about it if he wasn’t serious about the two of them.
He had even mentioned marriage, though not directly. Marion was getting ahead of herself, she knew, but she couldn’t contain the glee that poured out of her. She had everything that she had ever wanted, and she couldn’t imagine her life being any better than it was.
Eiric’s lips were soft against her own, while his body was hard, muscles flexing under the covers. She wanted to feel him, she wanted to touch his bare skin and feel his body underneath her hands, and so she pulled back, her trembling fingers unlacing her corset. She began to tear her clothes off, Eiric helping as much as he could with the hand that wasn’t broken, and in the end, she used so much force to take off her shift that she ripped it in two.
“Dinna let Mrs. MacKay find it,” Eiric said, and laughter bubbled out of Marion. She was finally naked, and she slipped under her covers on top of Eiric, her hands slipping under his night garment.
Eiric kissed her again, and she lost herself in it. She felt his hand snake down her back, fingers trailing over her skin until he grabbed her buttock, kneading the flesh and drawing a moan out of her.
One of her own hands moved between them, fingers searching for him and finding him right under his night garment, already hard. Her breath hitched when she wrapped her fingers around him, and then again when she heard him hiss in pleasure.
“Ye’ll be the death of me,” he whispered to her.
“Better than the English,” she retorted.
Eiric laughed, and as he did, he flipped them over, so that he was on top of her. Marion didn’t have much time to wonder if he was comfortable, if he was in pain, as soon enough, his lips found her breast, scattering kisses before wrapping themselves around her nipple.
Marion had never felt anything like it. Her entire body was arching, asking for more, eager to get closer to Eiric, to become one with him. She had heard some of the servant girls talk about kissing, but they had never talked about this, and though everything was brand new to her and she didn’t know where it would lead, she never wanted it to stop.
Eiric began to move lower and lower, his tongue leaving a trail over the skin of her breasts and abdomen, until he was between her legs. With his hand, he spread her legs further apart, and Marion gasped when she felt his lips kiss her there, her hips canting forward.
Eiric’s tongue was a hot brand against her sensitive flesh as he licked into her, making her legs quiver. Marion could feel her wetness spreading, which only seemed to serve to spur Eiric on. His hand clamped around her thigh, his lips sucking on her flesh and leaving her screaming in ecstasy.
The pressure built up more and more inside Marion, the fire in her belly growing with every swipe of Eiric’s tongue, and soon, her pleasure reached its crescendo, spasms of satisfaction rushing through her body.
She didn’t realize it when Eiric moved back up to her, kissing her softly. She could taste herself on him, and she wanted more; she wanted to feel that pleasure again, to take anything Eiric would give her.
Eiric seemed to have the same idea, Marion thought, as he was soon between her legs once more, this time pushing his fingers into her. She was spread under him, breasts bouncing every time that he drove his fingers deep inside of her, and Marion found that she wasn’t embarrassed at all. If anything, she loved the way that Eiric looked at her, his gaze roaming over her face and body as though he worshipped her.
“Ye’re the bonniest lass, Marion,” he said. “Do ye ken that?”
“I do now,” Marion said, unable to control the grin that spread over her face. Her mouth soon fell open once more when Eiric’s fingers hit a spot deep inside her that punched the air out of her lungs. “I want you. I want you now, Eiric, please.”
“Yer wish, is me command,” Eiric said, and no sooner had he removed his fingers than he pushed inside Marion once more, this time with his member.
Marion had to bite down on her bottom lip to keep herself from screaming. Eiric’s girth left her gasping with every movement of his hips, small, hiccupping breaths escaping her lips. Marion could feel him deep inside her, deeper than she thought possible, and the way he towered over her, on his knees on the mattress while she was on her back, made her mad with lust and desire.
Marion watched Eiric as he thrust into her. She watched how his face was distorted with pleasure, how he seemed to have eyes only for her. She intertwined their fingers, and Eiric leaned over her, kissing her, his chest brushing against her breasts.
“I love ye,” Eiric whispered in her ear. “I love ye, mo ghràdh.”
“I love you, too, Eiric.”
Those words, and the thrusts of Eiric’s hips, were enough to send Marion over the edge once more, screaming Eiric’s name as her orgasm hit her, her sensitive flesh pulsating and, with it, her entire body.
Eiric soon joined her, a broken moan coming out of him as he spilled himself inside her, a sensation that Marion began to crave at that very moment.
Eiric collapsed on top of her, panting as he tried to catch his breath. Marion could hardly move, not just because all of Eiric’s weight was on top of her, but also because she didn’t think she would be able to move for a long while.
Eiric had exhausted her, ruined her. She doubted that she could get out of that bed any time soon, and she doubted that her legs would be working properly.
