“Right there, right there,” her pleas come faster, and I keep my pace, hitting the exact spot she needs me to over and over until she’s mewling and squeezing me so tight, I think she might push me out.

“Are you going to come on my cock, Omega?” I ask.

“Yes, yes!” Her body pulls taut, pulsing around me in a way that makes dots dance behind my eyes. “Jamie.”

She moans, saying my name as she comes, and I can’t hold back anymore. Sparks shoot down my spine, my entire body lit up as I let my pleasure go. We grip each other, and my arms fly around her back, holding her as I hit my climax. I release inside her, and the slight “o” shape of her lips makes little leftover sparks shoot right through me as my pleasure ebbs and flows until everything ceases.

There are moments where I wonder how things would have been different if I were an alpha, but right now, I am glad to be anything but. I can’t imagine how they figure out their lives after something as intense as what we just experienced. Adding a knot to the equation sounds like a hassle.

I pull out of her and move off the bed, but she grips my wrist frantically.

“Don’t go,” she whispers, and I can feel her omega floating to the surface.

“Petal, I’m not going anywhere,” I reassure her. “But I want to take care of you. Let me clean you up.”

It takes a few seconds, but then she releases me, letting me move to the bathroom to get a warm rag. When I come back, I move it over her skin, clean between her legs. I get distracted as I watch my cum try to flow out of her, and I reach down and push it back in. She gasps, her head falling back with a sigh.

When I discard the rag, I come back to the bed and pull her to me.

“Are you feeling okay?” I ask.

Her eyes are shut, and she relaxes against my chest as she nods. “Mhm.”

I massage her arms, gentle tiny circles that work her muscles. She melts into me, and I can’t contain my joy as it spills into my scent.

I’ve never felt this needed before, this dominant. With Malaki and Cyrus, they both like to be in control, and I love to be the source of push and pull for them to play with. But here, with Josie, I feel confident, sturdy. A provider.

Wow, I can’t believe this is how I discover that I’m a verse.

Josie lazily trails her fingers over my body before she stops near my hip, her eyes taking in the new tattoo I have there.

“You called me your flower,” she observes.

“I did.”

She swallows, the sound rough against my chest. “Did you get it for me?”

Nervousness creeps in, but I push it away, looking at her despite how vulnerable I feel. “Yes. I got it in Santa Fe.”

Josie takes in the information, her brows furrowing, something clicking in her expression. “That was after Tucson. After I told you guys to…”

She trails off, her eyes going back to the tattoo.

I give her a weak smile. “Yes, and despite how disheartening that was, you are still my scent match. That’s true whether or not we decide to pursue it. And that’s special to me.” I pause, pulling my lip between my teeth with a nervous flush in my cheeks. “You’re special to me.”

When she looks up at me again, tears rim her eyes, but her scent is flourishing around us in a new bloom. My words must have hit her deep, her expression one of adoration, of curiosity. It makes something in me push forward, her emotion appearing on her sleeve. And with that feeling coursing through me, I lean up and close the space between us once more.

NINETEEN

The Rogues are everything I could ever want, and last night confirmed it for me.

Even after my run-in with Remi and Lennon, after my date with Malaki, I was still hesitant to let my emotions run free. The consequences felt too enormous, too detrimental, but I can’t help the way my body reacts in their presence. How my omega prods my psyche with the dirtiest thoughts she’s ever had whenever they’re around. How she mopes when they’re not right beside us.

Because of Jamie, because he took that courageous step in my direction, I can no longer postpone the revelation that this is something that I want. Jamie is a beta, someone that I should not be able to scent in the slightest, but his aroma wraps around me like a woven blanket every time he is near. It’s a constant reminder that this isn’t normal attraction, isn’t just a lonely omega lusting after captivating alphas. These are my mates, and they are meant for me in every possible way.

Jamie’s visit reminded me of that, and now I can’t get enough. A single whiff of his dark floral scent, and I was begging for any scrap of affection he wanted to give me.

I love everything about him so far. His silly retorts. His pure playfulness. His aura that lights up with all the kindness in the world.
