“What? What did I say?”

His lids rounded, his fingers easing just a bit. In the blink of an eye, the rage was back, his lips curling around his teeth. “When you’re wearing a forty thousand dollar ring that promises to make you Milo Pampinella’s wife, you don’t dare tell me you love me.”

My blood turned to ice, my stomach bottoming out as a deep, soul wrenching gasp shook my frame. “Oh my god. I told you?”

Hastily shoving off me, he shook his head. “You’re lying!” he bellowed, the veins in his neck sticking out, his face damn near purple with rage. “Get out!”

Sobbing, I squeaked and ran out of his apartment, darting down the stairs as fast as I could. Hysterically crying by the time I reached my bedroom, my knees almost buckled. I told him I loved him? Did I really accidentally say that?

No, no, no, no! This was bad, so so bad. I was never supposed to admit that.

Shutting the doors behind me, I just had a few more feet to go to reach my bed before my muscles quit on me.

The doors never shut, instead slammed into the walls as Wyatt bolted forward. Screeching in fear, I was frozen as he pounced on me, his hands grabbing the sides of my face, his lips crushing on mine so hard, our teeth clanked, my flesh bruising.

Dropping my underwear and bra, I gripped his shoulders for strength, our tongues mingling as he stumbled us to the bed. Frantic, he ripped the zipper and buttons on my shorts, pushing them down. While I was kicking them off my ankles, he was grabbing the collar of my shirt, tearing the flimsy material to grope my breasts, reminding me the clamps were still in place.

“Oh, shit!” I shrieked, breaking the kiss when it yanked on my overwrought clit. Burying my face in the crook of his neck, I immediately succumbed to a tiny orgasm, the poor, tiny nub incapable of handling the stimulation.

Wyatt bent over and swept me into his arms, gently laying me on the mattress. Not making eye contact, he carefully removed all the clamps, tossing them to the floor. Crawling on top, he eased inside, wrapping his arms around me. His mouth on my ear, he began a slow but deep rhythm.

“Oh, god,” I moaned, hooking my ankles behind his knees, my nails scratching his back. “Oh, Wyatt.”

A breathy grunt hit my eardrum with a forceful thrust. “What the hell did you do to me, Chazzy?” he groaned, cupping a breast and pushing it into my ribs. “God forgive me, I love you, baby.”

My heart lurched and I slapped at him, forcing him to sit up so I could gawk in horror. Tears spilling from my eyes, he never stopped stroking me thoroughly, his blue eyes dark and smoldering.

“No,” I whimpered, covering my mouth.

His knees jutted out, parting my legs further to go even deeper, curling my hips off the mattress. My eyes rolled, my nails back on his shoulders.

“Oh, yes, kitten.” He cupped my nape and lifted my head off the pillow, searching my features. “I love you, Chazzy.”

My palms on his cheeks, I sobbed, shaking my head. “We’re going to die.”

He paused, his Adam’s apple bobbing. His brows lifting, he rolled a shoulder. “You’re worth the risk,” he whispered, holding my stare as he claimed a kiss.

Sighing and giving in to the emotions, I linked my arms around his back and clung to him as we made love, confessing our feelings to one another over and over, knowing after today, we would probably never breathe these words aloud again, for if we did, it would probably get us killed.

My back arched, my hand on his nape, my fingers in his hair. “Oh, Wyatt,” I cried, another orgasm rolling through my system. “Oh, I love you so much.”

His embrace was unyielding, his frame smothering with his quickening thrusts. “I love you, Chazzy. Oh my god, I’ve been dying to tell you for so long. I love you so fucking much. Unh!”

He pushed deep, froze, thrust erratically, and stilled, sinking on top of me with a drawn out sigh.

Sliding my arm further across his back, my nails digging into his scalp, I burst out crying, my heart aching.

“I’m so sorry,” I whispered. “I’m so so sorry.”

Rolling to the side without releasing me, he petted my back, shushing in my ear. “It’s okay, I promise, it’s okay. I would die a million deaths for one week with you, kitten. I have no regrets. You are the best thing that ever happened to me.”

“But…he’s going to kill you.”

His lips scattered all over my face. “Only if he finds out. And if he does, then I die happier than I ever thought I could be. I don’t regret a moment of loving you.”

Pushing him to his back, I crawled on top, easing him inside me. My head shook slowly as I rose up and down slightly, trying to keep his softening dick from giving out right now.

“I’m willing to die for you, Wyatt. I love Milo, I really, really do.”
