My eyes grew misty. "You idiot..."

"I'm your idiot." He smiled, then lowered his head and kissed me again—this time slower, deeper, and even more intense.

His hand slipped under my clothes, cupping my breast.

"Mmm..." I couldn't hold back a soft moan.

"Still so sensitive," he whispered against my ear, his thumb brushing over the peak. "God, I've missed you..."

"I've missed you too, Cedric. I've been going crazy without you."

His mouth trailed down my neck and lower as my clothes fell away completely. His Adam's apple bobbed, and he leaned down to gently bite my breast through the thin fabric.

"Ah..." My body went limp instantly.

"I'm going to punish you properly," he said, eyes dark with desire as he looked up. "For neglecting me all this time."

His hand slid under my skirt and found my most sensitive spot.

"Mmm... Cedric... slow down..."

"I already told you I can't." His fingers dipped into my wetness. "You're soaked already, and you're still asking me to slow down?"

"Stop talking..." I panted heavily.

"Why should I stop?" He smirked, his fingers moving skillfully inside me. "I love hearing your voice. I love watching you fall apart for me..."

"Right there, Cedric—harder—" I cried out.

"Like this?" He pressed firmly against that perfect spot.

"Ah!" My back arched sharply off the bed.

Just then—

A knock sounded at the door.

"Daddy? Mommy?" Ethan's childish voice came from outside.

Cedric and I both froze.

"Damn it." Cedric cursed under his breath, resting his forehead against my shoulder. "How does this little guy always have such perfect timing..."

"He... he probably woke up..." I hurriedly sat up and started fixing my clothes.

"Daddy? Mommy?" Ethan continued knocking, his voice beginning to sound tearful. "I'm scared..."

Cedric took a deep breath, trying to steady himself.

"Wait a moment, Ethan." His voice was still slightly hoarse.

We quickly got dressed, though we were still a little disheveled. Then Cedric went to open the door.

Ethan was standing there, hugging his little teddy bear, his eyes red from tears.

"What's wrong?" I immediately walked over and crouched down. "Did you have a nightmare?"

"Yes." He nodded, tears still clinging to his eyelashes. He looked absolutely pitiful. "I dreamed that Mommy disappeared. I was scared."
