His face immediately turns curious. I never ask to contact other club presidents. It’s not really my place and I have never had the interest. Yes, I have gone to other clubs and dealt with them, but I have never needed to talk to them outside of business.

“Now why do you need to talk to the president of our Ashford chapter?”

“I need contact information that I can only get from him.”

He looks at me again and then really looks at me. I can tell by his eyes he is assessing every muscle twitch.

“And why do you need information for the Callahan fam–”

Before he finishes it looks like he put all the pieces together because his eyes go wide and he opens and closes his mouth before he looks at Riggs sitting next to him and then back at me.

“How in the hell do you boys get mixed up with these women that are from families with these connections? Please tell me. You’re baby mama is a mafia princess and you didn’t tell anyone?”

“Listen, Bulldog, she’s not a mafia princess. She was not raised in the life . Her family is from Texas.”

“So she is the daughter of Declan’s brother. You have to know that doesn’t mean much when you work with Declan. Just because his brother no longer runs any part of family operations doesn’t mean that his brother isn’t part of the family. You know I know that Beau gets money from the family just like any active member would. He also attends events when it is necessary to appease his mama and dad. Fuck. Riggs chuckles from next to him and turns to look at him.

“Yeah, like you had a normal woman. Your woman was from a family that thought because we were bikers we were below them. When our dad was so rich he bought more land then he knew what to do with. They just added more fun and more friends to our list. Good for you Rage.”

“Yeah, well I don’t know if you can consider them friends. Her old man hates me because of what I did to his daughter. I will be lucky if he doesn’t skin me alive. I mean I’m bigger than the man, but the look on his face made me feel like he’d probably bury me if he could.”

“Yeah, no doubt there. Listen, I’ll put a message into Shep. You have his number?”

“Yeah, Terror sent it. I just wanted to see if you could give him a call because I don’t want to add onto Terror’s plate right now. I know that he gave his vote to Lash while he was in the hospital and the gavel.”

“Yeah, well, I’m glad he knows that family is his first priority. I’ll take care of it for you, go enjoy watching everyone see your son for the first time. Congrats daddy. Also Mason is one cool kid. You’re doing everything right. Just keep at it. Don’t let the anger get the best of you. We love you kid.” He gets close to me and pulls me in for a hug before whispering in my ear, “Missy would be proud of the way you have turned your shit around after finding out you were a father. She’d beat your ass for how you treated Rose, but she would be so proud of the steps you are making to make yourself better. I want you to know that. You were like another son to her and to me. Don’t ever forget that. You are better than the man you let the world see.”

He clears his throat and steps back looking me in the eyes. He has tears in his eyes and quickly blinks them away before we hear Wizard announce loudly.

“Alright, assholes shut up! Let’s see what our newest member of Chaos looks like! Also I have been informed by his big brother Mason here that his name is Reid Beau Matthews. That he is a real looker. So be prepared brothers for all the women to go a little baby crazy!”

There are chuckles around all sides and then we hear the loud obnoxious voice of my best friend.

“Already baby crazy over here!” Lash says.

“When the hell aren’t you baby crazy? Let the woman have a break, she’s been pregnant with your kids for ten fucking years.” Fist yells from the back.

“Well, yeah, that’s because we make cute a fuck kids and she loves my cock!”

“Hey you dumbass there are children here!” Riggs yells from next to me.

“Yeah and dumbass is totally acceptable for children to hear.” Lash yells back.

“Alright, shut up! I’m putting up the pictures of this fucking cutie. We can all give Lash shit later.” Wizard yells.

Then just like that a slideshow starts. I don’t know when he had the time to do that, but it isn’t just the pictures I took of the baby. It is the pictures of the baby with Rose, the pictures of me with the baby that Abby took and pictures of the three of us together. Seeing all of it together makes my heart ache and gives me an itch to want to go back to that hospital and sit with my family. The next thing I know I feel an arm wrap around my shoulder and pull me into their side.

“You can fix this son. Just look at the way that woman looks at you. She might be hurt, she might be angry, but she fucking loves you.” My dad whispers next to me.

Before I can respond I feel another body squeeze up next to me and that body has a pair of fucking tits. Then I hear a whiny fucking voice next to me.

“Oh my gosh! Who’s baby is that?”

She must have been an idiot or she missed the pictures where I was in them. I look down and fucking Kitty. It is always fucking Kitty. I thought the last time I saw her I made it clear I wanted nothing to do with her, but here she is rubbing her fake as fuck tits on me thinking she has the right. I step out of her space and before I can say anything she is shrieking again.

“Rage! Baby! Why the hell are you in photos with that bitch and that baby? There is no way in fucking hell that is your baby? You already have one bastard kid. I cannot deal with another one. I am not going to be a stepmother to two fucking kids.”
