“Yeah, she is the best friend a girl could ask for.”

“I think you’re going to have to worry about more of them wanting to stay once you get everything set up with this place. They have missed you, Rose. So have we.”

I turn and wrap my arms around my dad’s waist.

“I’ve missed you all too, daddy. I’m glad you are all here, even if I feel like a whole army is invading.”

He chuckles and squeezes me. He rests his chin on my head.

“Alright, let’s go get some dinner before your nieces and nephews stage a revolution.”

I nod my head against his chest when I pull away. I look at this wonderful piece of land my daddy got for me to build my dream and I know that I am the luckiest girl around to have such a supportive family.

“Let’s go eat.”

Chapter Ten

Rage

One Month Later

I’ve been back from Maine for a little over two weeks now. When we came back we started up our different security duties again. I had been placed on tailing Sophie with some of my other brothers. They upped her security with her being pregnant and knowing that she wouldn’t fight having more than one man with her. Some of the ol’ ladies like to put up a fight, but Sophie being born and raised in the MC knew that no matter what she wasn’t going to get out of having a few of us with her. Plus Lash wasn’t going to let her get away with it. He gets more and more protective of her when she’s pregnant. I can’t complain though because I love hanging out at Sophie’s tattoo parlor. She’s got some cool guys that work for her, plus I just love the art.

“Okay thank you very much. I will be there soon.” I hear Sophie say as she is coming out of her office.

I look up as she is moving the phone back to her ear, she must be calling someone else.

“Hey Toby, what the hell is going on? I just got a call from the school and Declan, Daisy and Dare haven’t been picked up. You are supposed to get them, what’s going on?”

There is a pause and then Sophie looks up at me and the brothers as she starts walking out the door.

“Brothers, we are on the move, let’s get to our bikes.” I say and get up to follow Sophie.

“Well Tobs, I don’t know because I haven’t heard anything from Dash and Dallas’s daycare, but the school said no one picked them up. You are supposed to not have late appointments, why is that bitch scheduling you?”

Another pause obviously while she’s waiting for him to answer.

“Well can you call the daycare and see if the twins got picked up and call me back? They would’ve called if they were waiting to be picked up. They know the schedule so if someone didn’t get them they would’ve tried to see what was going on.”

She gets over to her SUV and we don’t hear the rest of her conversation, but she starts up her car and heads out of the parking lot with Slick, Crash, Grim and myself following behind her. I make a movement with my hands towards Slick and we pass her to get in front of her heading for the kids school.

Once we finally get to the school and have the three oldest kids secured in the car we start heading back towards the clubhouse when my bluetooth starts ringing.

“Yeah?”

“Rage, I need you to pull over. Get the other brothers to pull over.”

“What’s going on?”

“The twins are missing, mama is missing, I need someone to drive Sophie back. She’s hysterical. She can’t be driving those kids and herself like that even if you guys are in formation with her.”

I signal to everyone that we are pulling over in the next parking lot.

“Yeah, I got it.”

I climb off my bike and remove my helmet. Pulling the keys from my ignition I head over to Sophie’s SUV where you can tell she is upset and talking to someone on the bluetooth. I open the door for her and I hear Bulldog on the other end and Sophie is sobbing.

“I need you to let one of the boys take the driver’s seat baby, then I need you to take me off speaker phone. The kids are probably scared and seeing you like this is probably making it worse.”
