Chapter 12

Chase

Waking up, I’m instantly aware of two things. One, I’m wrapped around Cherry’s back, and two, my dick has never felt this hard before.

It could just be because I have her in my arms, or it could be because I haven’t bonded with her yet. It’s probably both, but what really doesn’t help is how she’s grinding her cute ass against it as the room fills with the scent of her arousal.

Yet somehow, her breathing tells me she’s still asleep.

Regretfully, I pull myself from her, climbing over Hunter, who’s asleep on my other side, as I head out of the room and down to my own bathroom. Of course, I would have loved to wake her up with my dick inside her, but I couldn’t do that, especially when we haven’t had sex yet. There is no way I’m going to let her sleep through our first time together.

Glancing at the clock in my bedroom, I see it’s still early, seven a.m., and decide that today is going to be the day. I’m done waiting. I’m going to plan the perfect day with Hunter and Cherry, one that ends with her bonded to us.

I step into the shower as images of her delicious, naked body spring to mind. I try to recall what it felt like to have my fingers inside of her, but it feels like so long ago now. Once we’re bonded, I’m going to touch her as often as possible. There will be no more reasons to hold back.

At first, we waited because of her shifting instability, then I had to hold back because we weren’t sure what five bonds would do, but now… I’m tired of waiting. There’s nothing left to keep me from claiming what’s mine.

And I know she wants it too.

Remembering the way she came on my fingers has me wrapping my hand around my hard cock as I let the water pour over my back. It doesn’t take more than a dozen strokes to get me spurting my release across the shower wall.

On one hand, I don’t want to waste any of my energy without her, but if I didn’t take the edge off, I might not get through the day. And as much as I’d love to drag her into my room right now and cement the bond, she deserves more than that.

I don’t even think she’s been on a real date before. Ideas start to spring to mind, and I smile as I quickly clean my body and get dressed, making sure to put on clean clothes before I poke Hunter through the bond.

“Yo, bro. You awake?”

Even through the bond, I can hear his sleepy groan. “I am now.”

“Get dressed. Today’s the day and I have a plan.”

“Should I be worried?” he asks, sounding more awake now.

“Only if you’re concerned with keeping up with me.”

“You’ve intrigued me. What’s your plan?” he asks, sounding eager.

“Get ready and I’ll tell you. Meet me in the kitchen.”

I hear his shower start as I head down the hall. I peek in and see Cherry nuzzled between Maddox and Bain, the spaces Hunter and I had occupied already gone.

I grin as I head to the kitchen and open the fridge. It doesn’t take me long to find some food and pack us a picnic. Just as I’m grabbing a bottle of wine, Hunter appears.

“Is that a picnic?” he asks in surprise.

“Yep. The two of us are taking her on a bike ride, then we’ll go for a picnic.”

“Do you know where we’re going?” he asks, making me freeze. Oops. I hadn’t thought of that.

“I’m on it,” he says when he sees my face. He pulls out his phone and starts typing away as he adds, “You pack up our bikes with everything we need, and I’ll figure out our route and destination.”

“Deal!” I say with a smile as I throw everything into a backpack.

“Oh, and don’t forget something to clean up with,” Hunter adds.

“Right.” I nod, reaching for the paper towels on the counter.

“That’s not what I meant,” Hunter says and I turn to him with a frown. He raises an eyebrow at me, and it takes me a second to realize what he means.
