The next thing I know, she’s grabbed my cheeks, pulling us together until our lips meet.
It’s a simple kiss, but I’m not letting her go that easily. I claim her mouth again, a deeper need surging through me. She opens for my tongue readily, and I’m consumed by the urge to learn every inch of her warm, sweet mouth.
We get away with the show on the dance floor for only a minute before someone catcalls, “Get a room.”
Luckily, she giggles at that. She’s less self-conscious than I would’ve expected. At least with these strangers. A good thing, because I don’t give a shit about what people I don’t know think of me.
She returns to dancing, and I follow suit, but something’s shifted in her intensity. As the beat of the music surrounds us, she pushes her warm center against my thigh. The skirt of her dress is loose enough to give her freedom of movement, and she takes full advantage.
I almost ask her if she wants me to help, but she’s clearly enjoying herself, eyes glazed over. So I keep my hands on her hips and enjoy the feel of her rubbing up against me. It’s not against my dick, but he has a good imagination.
Three songs blow by, with us settled into those motions for most of them. I don’t know how she’s handling the prolonged stimulation, because I’m struggling, based on the little leak inside my boxer briefs.
When a fourth song comes on, she slows down and leans her head against my chest. I try to will my dick to settle again, now that we’re taking a break.
Maybe she wants to stop entirely…
“Getting tired?” I ask.
“More warm than tired.”
“Maybe some water now?” She hums in agreement.
Only as we separate, I give in to the urge to brush a hand down her cheek, admiring its flush, together with her swollen lips.
“Are my cheeks red again?” she whispers. I nod. “You’re the first person who’s ever observed that about them.”
“I’m…paying attention.”
“Ha. Well, I’m glad you enjoy it.”
I rub my thumb over her soft skin again.
“It’s not only that I like your cheeks rosy, Eden. I like knowing I’m the one who makes them that way.”
Now, that gets a true blush out of her. “Are you sure you didn’t minor in poetry?”
“Nope. Just feeling inspired.”
She looks around and presses against me again.
“Let’s skip the water and get out of here…”
Within three minutes, we’re walking to my car, my hand reaching for hers again.
I don’t want to assume where we’re headed next, even though I’d kill to have the night continue. It’s up to her.
“Do you want me to drive you back to Tolliver…or do you want to see my place? It’s only a fifteen-minute drive, so closer.” A polite way to invite her over.
She glances over. “I—um, it’s the first date, but…”
“The first date of many, I hope.” I raise her hand to give it a kiss, wanting to make clear that this is not about a one-night stand.
“Okay, then…could we go to yours?” she asks with a grin on her face.
What a fucking dream night. “Absolutely.”
We’re two minutes on the road when I notice she’s subtly squirming in her seat, squeezing her legs together.
