“Fine, give me the pills!” she said huffily.

Zack grinned and handed them to her along with water before cheekily smacking her ass as he walked past her to open the front door.

Ava hadn’t even heard the bell, as she was so engrossed with Zack. Urgh, he was a sexy distraction alright, even if he was an asshole at times.

“Momma, Peppy Pig!” he son said as he slid from his chair and came to her.

Holding his arms up to her, she lifted him and cuddled him. “You wanna watch Peppa Pig?” she asked.

Riley nodded, and she kissed his baby soft cheek.

Walking out of the kitchen, she, met Roz, Lucy, Celeste, and another stunningly beautiful woman who looked like she was one of the Zenobi girls if the bulge of the knife at her ankle was anything to go by.

“Oh my god, Ava are you okay?” Celeste asked rushing to her and hugging her.

Ava hugged her friend back, with one arm. “Yeah, I’m perfectly fine, just a bump that’s all.”

“I was so worried!”

“Well no need, it’s all good.”

Lucy stepped up to them and kissed her cheek,

“Glad you’re okay, babe,” she said and smiled at Riley. “And who is this handsome chap?”

“This is Riley! Riley say hi,” she asked him, and he ducked his head, but then peeked up and gave all four women a grin.”

“Oh, he is adorable. I think my ovaries just burst,” Lucy said causing Zack to blanch.

“Oh, no you don’t, we have enough problems without one of my best operatives going on maternity leave. In fact, do operatives even have maternity leave? Well, whatever, it ain’t happening,” he stated and started ushering the women towards the large living room.

“Zack, I haven’t got a maternal bone in my body, but even I’m offended by the amount of wrong that just left your mouth,” Roz said, and all the women laughed.

“I give up, come on son, let’s go watch Peppa Pig in the other room, while the girls look at girlie stuff.” He said and taking his son. He looped one arm behind Ava’s back and bending her slightly, he kissed her hard and quick, “Don’t over-do it Green Eyes,” and with another quick touch to the mouth he left, while all the other women looked on with strange looks in their eyes, even Roz.

“Wow, when did the boss, get so, so…… I don’t even know,” Celeste asked to the room.

“Hot. The word is hot!” Roz and Lucy said in unison, causing the woman to start laughing again.

This was going to be fun, Ava decided a few minutes later after they had stopped giggling and she had been grilled about her and Zack by Lucy and Celeste, with Roz and Angel, the other Zenobi agent who would be joining them on Saturday night, only interested in the hot stuff. Of course, she had only given them the highlights, even though everything was one big highlight to her.

A very chic and posh looking French woman had come, followed by Liam and Drew, pulling two racks of dresses with them. The men had left rather rapidly though, feeling the spike in female hormones that spelt trouble and beating a hasty retreat.

It hadn’t helped that Roz had grabbed Drew’s ass, and Angel had started running her finger down Liam’s chest as he tried to leave. Ava had found it hilarious to see such fear in the eyes of two grown men.

“You are so bad,” Lucy admonished them.

Roz shrugged. “Gotta get your fun where you can,”

The exotically chic French lady who went by Chantelle started pulling out dresses, and soon the room was filled with different coloured silks, tulle, sequins, and lace.

The women tried them all on, each making a selection, even Celeste tried on a few dresses, and Ava decided she was going to treat her with one.

“I wish I could come,” Celeste said wistfully.

“Why can’t you?” Roz asked.

“Because I’m just the receptionist, not an operative.”
