“I’m perfect,” I lied. I was far from it, but I was damned if I was going to ruin this moment. “I want you to go out with me.”

“What?” She chuckled, confused.

“I want to take you out on a date.”. I didn’t say it out loud, but the implication was clear-I wanted everyone to know she was mine.

No more dodging reporters. No more sneaking around. No more sleeping in separate beds, on opposite sides of the world.

She was mine, I was hers, and I didn’t want her to leave my side.

Preferably, ever.

“Okay,” she said sweetly, a twinkle in her eye.

Yeah, as always, my girl was tuned into me and knew exactly what I needed.

And as always, she gave it to me.

Simple as that.

Chapter Eight

Lola

“Oh, God, Ian,” I moaned, throwing my head back, my eyes wide open but not seeing anything.

I couldn’t think. Couldn’t breathe.

I couldn’t do anything but feel.

I was on all fours in the middle of the bed. Ian had woken me up with his mouth between my legs and proceeded to eat me until I saw stars right at dawn. He then rolled me to my belly, pulled me up by his arm around my midriff, and positioned me behind my half-limp form on his knees. Then, he started giving me the best morning of my life. He was alternating between fast and hard thrusts, to sweet and slow glides. Each time I got used to the rhythm and was firmly on my way to the second orgasm of the morning, he altered the pace and angle.

He was in the gliding stage now. It felt brilliant, right, loving.

“Get there, baby,” his voice was strained. By now, I knew, it was because he was holding off until I got mine.

“I need—” I started to say, but by now he knew me too, so he changed the pace again. He pulled almost all the way out and using his significant power slammed into me, jolting me.

“I know,” he panted right in my ear as he mounted me. Then he proceeded to rut.

Fuck, it was magnificent.

He was magnificent.

It took no time at all before I reached a peak and started falling. The room spun out of existence. The bed disappeared underneath me.

All that was left was the sweet feeling swirling through my body and the feeling of Ian in me.

Nothing but the two of us.

I wanted it to last forever.

It was the middle of the season, and we were in France for the race.

Our next stop after this was home, or more to the point, the U.S. Grand Prix. And Ian was not himself.

My work has slowly progressed but I wasn’t behind on anything, and the Donavans were happy with my work. They had no problem with me spending so much time with Ian as long as I did my job well.

In fact, they encouraged it.
