“Really, really.” He strips out of his clothes and crawls over me, even as I use my arms to drag myself up the bed. He looms, a dangerous, sexy threat to my senses.

“Sage,” I whine.

He ducks down, the heat of him surrounds me, but the only place we are touching is our lips. I gasp and shift my weight. He grins.

“What’s funny?”

“Everything,” he whispers. “You, me, here with our pack just out there, and I’m about to make you moan my name. It’s so great to be alive.”

I shake my head, but he leans down and presses his lips to the spot just below my collarbone.

“Tell me a joke,” I say.

He lifts his head, glaring at me. “Now? Like right now?”

I giggle.

“You are a shit, Kest.”

He tweaks my nipple hard enough to make me shriek. The door slams open, and King walks in, his concerned expression clearing when he sees what we’re doing.

He chuckles.

“Tell this wench a joke,” Sage growls.

“A joke?”

“She wants a joke.”

“Now?”

“Yes, now.”

King hums. “I don’t know any jokes.”

Sage sits back, sitting on my pelvis, he glares at me. “Can I give you an IOU?”

I shake my head, bemused by this ridiculous conversation but unwilling to let it go.

Sage’s expression gets positively crafty.

“What are you up to?” I growl.

He ignores me, looking at King. “Want to play with us?”

King shrugs and strips out of his clothes. I watch, enjoying the slow exposure of all that delicious skin.

Sage slaps my breast lightly, making it wobble.

“How about a game instead of a joke?”

I am instantly suspicious, and I look from him to King, trying to figure out if I can get any clues from either of them.

“What kind of game?”

“Oh, it’s one you will love.”

“What do I have to do?”
